Cracking day out again. I love the big bullets. .577 Enfield rounds. The smooth ones with no rings are for the Royal Enfield muzzel loaded rifle last used in 1872 in the Maori Wars. The ones with the rings are for the later cartridge loaded rifle. I always find loads of the lead from stained glass windows down mumbles. Thanks for the upload 👍
Thanks for your comment Welshjim! This place is packed with bullets all sorts. Must be several of firing ranges out there in the past. How you can explain the uncountable number of fired bullets?
@@muddigger4784 Yes is well strange. I've found so many. There were hundreds of oyster skiffs fishing for oysters sailing out of there up until the 1890,s. It was very busy for boats. Who knows. I think they were used up untill first world war
Have you came across any old bits of pottery/old bottles etc? Do you collect them too? Found a fair bit out of Swansea bay recently just on the surface and high tide line.

Not very often, just broken pieces. Two years ago I found a small Victorian ink bottle, washed up on the surface.

Is this the ballasts just Infront of black pill?
Yes, indeed. Around exposed ballast stones is the best place to look.
