It's the exact opposite. His music is actually good now. His music was trash previously, with the only reason why he gained notoriety was due to media attention. A great example being the song "The Beautiful People" which was a repetitive, generic, uninspired industrial grunge tune set to lazily written lyrics. I find "Heaven Upside Down" to be his ONLY good album.

I waited a year for the evidence to come out when it came to Evan's claims (to me it was obvious the rest of the allegations were coordinated) and in that year, I didn't listen to a single Manson song for the first time since 1998 because even for him, I will never support a fucking abuser. Then he produced the evidence. I won't lie...I was genuinely relieved. We all remember how much different his relationship with her seemed to be and I was honestly afraid he did it. But he has never wanted any of us to blindly follow him. He has also been abused when he was young and I highly doubt he would want us to support him even if we thought he was some terrible abuser. He taught us all to question everything back in the day so if we told him we waited for evidence, I feel like he would get that.
His fandom is not a cult. The people who latched on to him because they thought he was an abuser do not like anything about Manson really and they can't stand the people who actually are fans. They thought he was going to go the route most celebrities go because most of them actually are guilty as sin so they have no way to clear their name. That just shows how little they know what he's about.
So yeah, we care about the allegations. We aren't still here believing he's guilty but not giving a damn. We looked over the evidence and saw a set up so we felt ok about supporting him.
There is something very hauntingly beautiful about this. Can't get it out of my head.
This song still soothes my soul. His music just goes to places most music I listen to, doesn’t.

I think that this songs meaning is that people only love you when you're at your lowest so they can put you within their power. When you have them in your power, they only want to leave you. Relationships are all about power and we often seek out people who we can control because it gives us personal fulfillment.

MM is an incredibly talented musician. The way he utilizes the raw sound to produce that almost dated realism in his music states a message already peripheral to the lyrics. I don’t think there’s a single track that doesn’t connect to the entire album. It’s cynical, vulnerable, and honest. Bravo.

I don't know how many times I've listed to the music of Mr. Manson. I own every album and still find new parts I never paid attention to before.
Every album has it's own little pearl. And I love them all.
BUT:
In my opinion this is the best song he wrote/performed yet.
You might say whatever you want on Mr. Mansons (lower) range of voice nowadays, his (maybe) useless try to still "shock" society (which is hard in these times), his attempts in art or his drunken performances. It's just human.
In my eyes he is a very sensitive person, with the need to get attention and express himself. Which isn't bad at all. Those persons are the most inspiring artists. Sadly most of them go a very tragic way. And I am happy Mr. Manson doesn't.
Mr. Manson/Warner, I wish you the best and hope you still enjoy creating music as I enjoy listening to it.

You know, for a while I couldn't really listen to his music after the allegations came out, but since his innocence seems viable, and I honestly think he is innocent, I can finally listen to the dude who got me into this whole genre, and expanded my tastes.
