How do you get that precise line movement info? The sites I see/use don't have any line movements that close together. They're spread out by 30 mins to an hour.
Personally, I wouldn't do it because its not necessary. I've been profitable in NFL for 7 years and never bought points. If you do, say at -120, now you have increased your break even point making it more difficult to turn a profit. Especially if its a favorite considering they only win and cover less than 50% of the time. A lot going against you in a "buy points" scenario.
Also, what if the line itself doesn't move, but the juice moves a minute before the game? For example, TB -2.5 (-105), then right before game time it moves to TB -2.5 (-115). Would you consider that significant enough to take TB -2.5?
To keep it simple, don’t focus on that. Only the line move. And remember, line movement is one situational angle. Would never base an entire play exclusively on line movement.
