Faith Nisperos is a gift to Ateneo. Vanie improved so much. Raagas was the missing link for the first few games. Doromal did her job. This is such a nice game!

What a match! This game is one for the books 💯 Both teams gave their all to get the win. Grabe yung grit and determination na pinakita nila. Faith Nisperos did everything in both offense and defense. That was a championship game. Battle of the birds indeed. Ateneo has already found the formula. It has finally activated the different departments from serving to blocking to receiving to setting to spiking. Nisperos-Gandler-Raagas were the holy trinity of Ateneo. Maraguinot was the playmaker. Miner and Narit were the twin towers. Doromal was “Miss Everywhere”. It was truly a team effort. They played smarter and faster now than their previous games. They were also more aggressive in court. I hope they can maintain it until the end. Adamson fought well too. Even if they were down 2 sets over Ateneo, they were able to get the 4th set. It’s not over until it’s over. Adamson was a PVL Collegiate champion. No wonder both teams showed what a championship game should be. 🙌🏼 🐦🦅

Ateneo & Adamson matches are always fun to watch. Timing pa na both teams needed this win to secure that top 4 spot. Doromal should be the main libero tho that ✨(70% digging eff & 69% receiving eff)✨ is also the game changer. Bigla rin siyang sumusulpot out of nowhere giving me that denden lazaro vibes. ✊
Sad for Almonte tho, her libero stint was really crucial nawala momentum niya as OH. This one's on the coaching staff for pulling something like that mid season.
This game would surely be in the history books as one of the classics in UAAP, this game made me realize how lovable and humble ADMU is. The grit, passion, determination and team work is indeed strongly beautiful. I nominate this game as the greatest game of the season so far😊😎.. a very emotional one at that. Congrats to Ateneo! BTW.. Faith is on 🔥.
Grabe Vanie Gandler really stepped up for her team!!! Kudos to Maraguinot also doing her job perfectly. Nisperos best of the best. I will give the last point to Jaja Maraguinot for saving that one then with the help of Nisperos miracle hand🤣🤣🤣

What a classic Ateneo and Adamson match, both teams show that there are deserving of the top 4, but Ateneo Faith Nisperos is on fire. Kudos to Genesis and Romero and the rest of Adamson indeed and dark horse for this season. Sana mag tuloy tuloy ang depensa ng ateneo both net and floor defense. I hope Jaja Maraguinot maintains to lead her team for the DLSU match-up on Tuesday.
Kudos din sa digging at coverage ni Vanie, parang dalawa yung libero na nasa court eh, and of course the Almighty Faith Nisperos, although this was a collective effort, she clutched till the end of the game, so proud of how far ABE's play have improved over the season, we are seeing the heart of the champions.
Im glad that their improvement shows in round 2. They almost played very well in all department on this match

@@paolaeguno859 How well do you know me personally?! And you immediately come to the conclusion that I am a newly fan of NU? First of all, I'm a fan of NU Since Season 76 with the Santiago sisters. With their fellow starters Aganon, Pablo, Perez, Urdas. NU had a 12-2 elimination round and I know they lost because Ateneo beat them sa stepladder format.
After Season 76, they had some downfalls of course because they lost some of their ace players. Season 77 Aiko got injured. Season 78 setters were the main problem. Season 79-80 Floor defense was their problem. Season 81 was their rebuilding stage plus the fact that Joyme Cagande had an ACL injury and had to recover and she was the lone setter. Season 82 was the redemption of them but unfortunately, the season got cancelled. And here we are now in Season 84.
If that is not enough for you, nasa saiyo na un.

6:32 Romero reminds me so much of Morado. Setting balls to the middle from a dig, regardless of the distance of the ball to the spiker. Middle spiker usually can't approach properly for this type of attack, and it's super effective because it surprises the opponents' defense.
Laki na talaga ng improvement ni Gandler. Each player's position every game nag kaka spotlight, last game was the middles now, open and opposite pati libero, great improvement ADMU and Great Game ADU.
Kaya dapat maging alerto ang La Salle! Dapat hindi sila maging kampante...

This game should be a lesson for the whole coaching staff of Adamson na wag pabago-bago ng starters kaya di mahanap-hanap yung right chemistry in every game. Di na sila natuto after UST game. Surprisingly din na di binabad si Nuique kahit may ambag naman sa scoring. May mali talaga sa game plan ng Adamson. Nasasayangan ako sa kanila sa final 4. I was rooting for them a while ago but ang galing din talaga ng Ateneo, especially Faith. Sana tumino na desisyon sa buhay ng mga coaches ng Adamson next season.

Nasayangan lang ako at di na-line up sila laso at verdeflor na solid nung PVL though Balang improved lalo na sa 2nd round. Repeat of season 80 ba itey? Hoping pa rin na maipanalo nila yung next 2 games.

This is the Ateneo that we know. They will always comeback big and stronger. Sobrang laki ng improvement nila in a span only of a week from Round 1 to Round 2. I also noticed that Ateneo's floor defense is more improved this season. Kudos to Doromal.

I'm rooting for Adamson even I'm from UST i believe this team is pure. They represent old school volleyball kung saan di pa uso noon ang lucrative offers sa mga players.. today's UAAP VOLLEYBALL is about scouting and offers, it's not anymore loyalty and hard training to achieve the Championship 🏆.

Ang ganda ng match-up na to as practice for both teams na parehong kakalabanin ng DLSU for their last games. For Ateneo, ang laking bagay na mag-improve lalo attacking nila dahil napakagaling ng defense ng Adamson, hirap na hirap makapatay ng bola sa kanila. For Adamson, it's a testament to their setter Louie Romero na 5 players in double digits, superhero setter talaga. Ano man result ng laban nila against DLSU for sure malaking experience yung bigay ng game na to for both teams.

Been a fan of ADMU since Valdez era and tuloy2 na. Kaso dahil sa sobrang busy ki sa trabaho sobrang dalang lang makakita ng laro. Just started to watch again recently sa laro ng UST VS ADMU and it was just the highlights. And it was my first time seeing how Nisperos plays. Juskoooo halimaw! Parang Valdez eh! And Gandler has improved so much! ADMU fan forever! ♥️
