Judging from the names, it seems this OuRyuuOu is an evolved KouRyu (Light Dragon?). Ganglong saying it being chief of the FOUR Dragons means there should be three other dragons (Dark/KokuRyu?). But then again, Ganglong keeps spouting bs even back in @3 and his home manga so take his words with a grain of salt
it's strange. in chinese myth, there are 4 gods and a big dragon who is their boss. the gods are a white tiger, a phenix, a turtle and a dragon. there are in the game so it will make sense it's about them

He killed the other three so the blue dragon ascended to the current golden dragon. And being the only Shinrei-class, it naturally takes the place of Yinglong in the center of Shijin. As I said, most of the background stuff are from his words so take them with a grain of salt
