Thank you for sharing very informative information, your message to education is so valuable on eating healthy for all of us. I believe you are an inspiration to all ages. I am turning 73, never too late to change. Seriously, I now realize I haven’t been really eating healthy. We need to get in the mind set, we are what we eat ! Changes my eating habits immediately. I’m a fan now !

I started my vegan journey around 40. Unfortunately, there is a lot of BAD information out there, which caused me to make some bad diet choices. However, seeing people like Babette, Annette Larkins, John Rose, etc etc shows the PROOF!!! Its really this simple. Eat lots of fruit & veggies & cut out the fat & animal products. No restriction, no counting calories. Its where the real freedom is. God bless anyone who is either on the journey, or considering it. And be gentle to yourselves. ❤

She is very impressive and motivating. Great reminder to focus on real foods, not processed carbs/junk. I try to stick to fish or chicken and then low sugar fruits and vegetables; and skipping diary. Personally I’m a big believer in intermittent fasting as well

Important to remember: SEVENTY percent of our immune cells are in our digestive tract! That makes me think that our food source is hugely important for our health.

This is so motivating to me. I can't help but notice how beautiful she is too. I am wondering how she keeps her eye lids from falling like so many of us in post menopause. So young, inside and out. Her skin is luscious.

In one of your next discussions could you talk more about digestion? I can definitely relate to Chef Babette’s story. As someone with IBS-C/idiopathic constipation, I’ve fallen off the wagon a few times because eating raw foods had me so blocked up. I’m doing better with (over)cooked veggies, but I don’t wanna settle for preparing them that way forever. Do you all have any tips for helping the stomach adjust?

I find the analogy of the oxygen mask especially poignant because of the earlier comment by Chef Babette about chlorophyll, and because of her information about juicing greens (deep, leafy), both of which I think oxygenate the blood, yes? Thank you, Doctor, for using the word “oxygenate”!! I love the poetry of THIS interview!!

Would you please in your next interview remember to ask lovely Babette to give you the ingredients she takes daily, for example, in her green juices.
What is her typical midday meal?

With Chef Babette, it's really a matter to find out what's due to her genetics and what's due to her hard work. I have no doubt she's been working hard at staying young and healthy, but I think very few people might have started with her genetic capital, and in her case it seems that it's huge.

    E3 Live blue algae?

    • @ruach32

E3Live Benefits - Blue Green Algae SUPERfood
Blue-green algae (spirulina), which have been on the rise in recent years and succeeded in making their name among the superfoods, come from cyanobacteria, one of the families of single-cell bacteria. Spirulina, which can grow in both fresh and saltwater, is considered one of the oldest living rituals in the world. This superfood grows in natural environments such as ponds and lagoons. The grown spirulas are dried, powdered, and sold in powder or tablet form.
      Useful for Digestive System
Blue-green algae are rich in oxygen and contain high levels of chlorophyll that inhibits anaerobic bacteria. Blue-green algae, which activate the automatic muscular system in the gastrointestinal tract, create an oxygen-rich environment that feeds probiotics. Therefore, it can play an essential role in the regulation of the digestive system.
      Detox Effect
Blue-green algae are rapidly absorbed in the body and act as a detoxifying agent by balancing the intestinal tract. Blue-green algae, which also helps to maintain the necessary minerals, vitamins, and nutrient balance, can also be said to have superior capabilities in detoxification, which means purification of the body from harmful toxicities

      Anti-Aging
With a remarkable anti-aging ability, spirulina nourishes the skin and gives antioxidant effects. Thanks to the beta carotene in it, it also provides a good quality of vision for healthy eyes.
      Radioactive Protection
Blue-green algae fight radiation, especially during the cancer treatment process, when the algae remove the radioactive particles to which the patients are exposed to. It can have a positive effect on the course of the treatment; however, in this case, it is necessary to follow the doctor's recommendations.
      Strengthens the Immune System
Blue-green algae contain abundant beta carotene, the precursor of vitamin A. This miraculous supplement that provides vitamin A support, which we know as one of the vital vitamins for our body, makes a significant contribution to the strengthening of the immune system.

I've heard Blood Type O- it is best to eat plant-based. What you could do is decrease your meat consumption go 20-10% total and the rest being fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains. Source: The China Study by Dr. THOMAS Campbell, peer-reviewed doctor and researcher.
