Absolutely love this version. Been a big Aaron Lewis fan for about 20 years now. Met him here in Massachusetts where he was from and had the chance to talk to him for a little bit. Great guy, we had a lot in common being recovering addicts. Great version of this song brings back a lot of emotion
People can shit on him or Staind all they want. They were one of the first bands I got into because they were from an hour away where I grew up and they just had that hometown thing behind them that made me always want to see them doing good. After Break the Cycle when they realized Aaron could shit out Billboard hits they stuck to what was working and what the label wanted. I don’t blame them one bit. Old Staind was the best and Aaron’s solo stuff will always basically be what it is because he just has it down to a science. I think he’s a better singer than Corey Taylor honestly, but probably only because Aaron never really had to scream his balls of for 20 years the way Corey did lol I’d also put him way above Sully Erna. He just has that smokers raspy strong vocal sound that works great for him
@@nicholasjarvis8958 aaron lewis is up there with chester in my books, maybe a better voice.... both insane level of lyrical talent and ability to express emotion.

I was at this show. It hit different in person, it was even better. You could feel the emotion in him and the crowd so much.
I WILL see him live some day.
Greatest vocalist of our time.
@@j.franklin21 I've seen him live 3 times as a solo artist and twice with staind. He has always put on a good show.
