I actually have seen and use dog bowls that have a kind of looks like a maze within it and you put the food in it and because it's raised they have to kind of work for their food so look it out from the grooves and it slows them down and it actually works really well I had to do with my husky

in quarantine i remembered i had a skateboard in my garage so i decided to learn a ollie and now i can almost do a fs 180 after 1 month of skateboarding and i am so happy i learned through braille videos they're the best
btw if u need your dog to slow down eating if you go to pet smart or something you can get a special bowl/feeder that has mini hills inside that make your dog eat slower and it really works for my dog
You can put tennisballs or golfballs in your dogs dish to slow them down, my lab used to eat so fast hed throw up but the golfballs slow em down bc he constantly has to push them out of his way

Aaron, put a tennis ball in the food. It's supposed to allow them to struggle grabbing the food because the tennis ball is in the way. Makes them eat slower.
Just bought my first skateboard 2 weeks ago, thanks Braille for inspiring me to do so. I've been enjoying just watching you guys skate around and hang out. I'm unsure if going to the skatepark to just push around (being careful not to snake anyone), roll up and down mellow ramps and pop my tail prepping for an eventual ollie is acceptable, since I can't really do any tricks yet. Any thoughts on that? I don't really know anyone there, or any other skateboarders. Much love from Europe
try a slow feeder and my gf suggest some leash training. have one eating from a shared bowl while the other is on a leash and watching the other eat. then alternate. since blue eats super fast have him wait for breakfast and have ollie eat first. and then for dinner blue eats first. after each week get a foot closer to the bowl. this may be time consuming but it gives you special moments with them like how you’re doing already.
Gabe- u pretty much got it now it's just getting comfortable flicking with ur back foot maybe try to kicking down a little bit too with ur back foot. ull get a faster rotation that way. Is kinda like flicking downward instead of out. Hard to explain but u got it.

Arron, hope the dog training is going well for you. what worked for me to slow my pup down while eating was to put a something in the bowl they have to eat around, a rubber fetch ball is what worked for me. Also what might help is feed them in separate rooms or farther away from one another, that way blue won’t be trying to rush to get to ollies food.
Beautiful pooches! Its a great idea to make them sit and wait for your command before they start eating. Also if you take their food away from them and give it back it will prevent them from getting aggressive when their food or toys are taken away from them in the future. I have two small dogs an one would do the same. So we spilt them up. You can do Diffently rooms but the fast one will bark to get out. So we would put the slow one out side on the deck n when he's finished. We let him back in. The slow one we realise his not going to get any more then what's in front of him he will slow down
With border collies you have to make it a point that you're in charge. I have one and you need to be stern but not too loud because they get timid very easily
