  • Junk Journal January - Day 30 Prompt “Fabric” #artjournaling #creativechallenge #junkjournaljanuary25
I am thrilled to be part of the collaborator line up for this year's Junk Journal January challenge, hosted by the lovely @MegJournals - my prompt was Day 28.
Day 30: A delicate fabric-themed tag featuring a rustic burlap centerpiece adorned with vintage lace trim and neutral paper elements. Vibrant fuchsia die-cut flowers with elegant stems and leaves create a contrast against the neutral background. A charming paper cluster with a dainty white flower adds texture and dimension to this vintage-inspired composition.

I love the textures of the neutral fabric strips on your tag! 💕 And I love the way you always keep in mind to create continuity with the opposite page. Just beautiful!! Thanks so much, Steph! ❤

Beautiful Steph! I've fallen behind. Still working on prompt "reveal". This was my 1st Junk Journal January challenge and I must admit I am having feelings about it coming to an end. ☹️ I've enjoyed your company and seeing your beautiful creations! Glad to have found your channel as well!✨️🌺🙋‍♀️

I’ve always loved a fabric tag. One piece or many. I forget about making them for my journals when I need a tag. I think making a few neutral ones for my stash then if I want a little color do it when needed.

Beautiful tag. I am thinking about doing a fabric flip. Since I also make clothing I have a lot of fabric to choose from.

What type size tag are you using?

    • @hilltopviewjournals

The tags are from Hobby Craft and measure 5.5cm x 11cm (approx 2 3/8” by 4 5/8”). Hope that helps

Hi! What kind of paper is your faux vintage tape on? I’ve been making mine on sheet protectors but I’m having trouble getting it off there.

I had a problem with what I used as well, which was deli paper. I think freezer paper would work better
