I have the same ones😮!!!! Wow. I liked the premium alpine 8”sub but I keep missing the deep bass rumble my two twelve’s have. Should I do it or not lol 😅
Finished this yesterday. I ran my remote wire from the amp to a fuse tap, on the ignition fuse, so the subs come on only when the car is on. Power goes from the amp to the battery. Ground goes from the amp to a grounded bolt by the battery.
You could put both positives and negatives (left and right) on the line converter to one speakers positive and negative. In this case the left/right channels wont make a difference.
My sub started smoking after getting a professional to install in my 2020 dodge scat pack 1320 he connected to the fuse box real ghetto and it came out while driving i need assistance someone help pls i’ll send vids or facetime
I hooked up my sub and amp everything was playing but, now my check engine light is on and my windshield wipers won’t turn off And it keep saying service electric stability system im trying to figure out what I did wrong

I saw the measurements of you box. Do you think a box measuring H-15 L-31.75, Depth- 15top, 17bottom would still fit?

Where did you find this mysterious 5 awg wire
Ive got the alpine system in mine right now, did you run any lines to the front speakers?
No I only ran off the two back speakers
why do you have to run it off of 2 why can’t you do one ?
@@themtunesthough3500 the speakers are likely daisy changed as well as the fact the sub needs both left and right channels

@@themtunesthough3500 you can,I just did it. It's only pulling a monotone sgnal
How did you put the RCA cable in?
I had to take down the cover in the trunk below stock speakers and tap into those wires on both sides off the stock speakers
So if I have an aftermarket stereo then I don’t have to run anything from the trunk to the stereo?
Not if you tap the speaker wires for the audio cables to run to the amp
@@MoparDad84 How would I go about doing that?
Had the mtx blew them in about 2 months come to find out my amp was running 4 ohms not 2 :D amazing…

so u don’t have to use the power, remote and ground on the converter? i’m in the middle of an install and im stuck
The Skar audio loc doesn't require a dedicated power just Speaker +- on both sides and a ground
I want to know how your almost getting 30mpg 😮
What kind of fuse tap did you use?
I hooked up my sub and amp everything was playing but, now my check engine light is on and my windshield wipers won’t turn off

Ohhhhh fuuuuuuk
I figured it out using that fuse didn’t work for me so I switched it disconnected my battery and reconnected it and everything went back to normal.
Get a better loc like an audio control and you won't have to rig the turn on wire to the fuse
A little advice and time saving get you’re self’s a lc2ipro best thing out now
Bro you should of showed us it worked
I really hope people don't follow this videos directions
why?
I don't think installing a subwoofer counts as installing a sound system...
Looks so horrible
Awfully bad place to ground your amp
Youll get feedback
But it’s hidden, that that’s what he going for😂
Where would you ground it!?
