    I was born in Hannibal Missouri I was raised and Hannibal Missouri I also work for Martin Martin True Value I remember Quincy mom went over there to shop now I live in Oklahoma City Oklahoma thank you you did a good job and Merry Christmas bye-bye

    you are very close, it was actually 3rd Broadway, the truck was driven by Max Johnson on July 5th 1954. Max was headed east on Broadway to deliver the first load of the day in Liberty, after the light had turned green, he started to go through the intersection, the ground under the brick due to the heavy rains the night before, The truck that Max was driving was Ready Mix newest truck at the time.

    The truck in the whole (3rd picture) was at 3rd & Oak. My father worked for the same company. He & I were walking home and witnessed this accident. The weight of the truck caused an old sewer to cave in.

    Do you happen to know any info on the picture of a young man standing next to a car at a service station? It's about halfway thru the video, close after the Prairie Farms picture. I ask because my father worked at a gas/service station called Pee Wee's and this young man looks very similar.

      Cindy from what I understand he was a Duesterhaus, and from what I was told that the gas station was out North 24th, can you tell me where Pee Wee's was located?
