14:20 you’ve also got the option of bringing the bishop back to d2 which could give you a chance of a discovered attack on their queen. Great game! Good on you for taking all the time you needed to think through your moves
9:13 "I can't make fun of him, 'cause it happens to me so much." Exactly why I can't make fun of anyone in chess... or in life in general. Good remark. To be honnest, I am starting to wonder if blundering is not in fact the essence of chess. Blunders are refreshing to see for some reason. Perfect play is like being on a razor's edge. Too much stress. I don't know.
not in this case, h4 you already had the center, the engine wants you to do the long castle and advance with the pawn because of that fianchetto bishop...that's why h4 is the recomendded, not because of check mate, because there is no risk there to lose time doing this
@@IvanLChess my problem is that I resign when I down a piece. I’m sure a lot of my games could have played out in my favor but I hate risking wasting all that time when I could resign.. it’s a dirty habit.
Games can be so wild at this level that it’s worth playing most of the time. Your opponent can blunder at any time or ignore a simple checkmate. Playing for stalemate won’t hurt either.
I love how this guy started a rapid game then got annoyed at you for spending time to think lol
In your level opponents can play whatever but just ignore develop they will make mistakes eventually be solid develop and wait for mistakes
Honestly, up until about 1300 elo, just play solid chess and wait for your opponent to mistake and you should win most of your games.
gg
Finally someone on the same wavelength as me I didn’t see the bishops hanging either
Good win. I was worried after you lost your bishop.

I recommend to spend some time with learning the openings and doing a lot of puzzles, getting better at chess takes time.
Remember develope and castle before attack

@@IvanLChess same too you man

When the engine suggests a move you don't understand, you can press "show moves". And then advance. It'll take you through the move sequence
that doesn’t help at all 99% of the time foo😂😂 L advice 💀 💀
5:57 Maybe bishop to d6? They take the knight, the queen to h6? Feels very close to mate. Maybe start advancing your e4 pawn?
h pawn better to avoid back rank generally cause f pawn opens ur kings diagonal to the rest of the board
Makes sense

Bro I’ve been stuck at this elo range forever..

This is a ridiculous time control for beginners.
15 | 10 would be better but if he’s also trying to get a TH-cam channel going I can understand 10 minute games
