The Skyrim moons, Bloodborne Ludwig’s Moonlight Sword as the Bonfire sword, the darkened sun, Whiterun in the Background, everything about this art goes hard as fuck.
the Moonlight Greatsword has been in *every* FromSoft game in one form or another, ever since the King's Field games, it's not just a Bloodborne weapon.

I really love how grandiose and heroic this feels and it having a choir makes it seems like representing the community who have played these games and those who are into fantasy genre.

Subtle touch, pointing out that the age of dark is the age of humanity. They want to be saved from the dark...but really want to be saved from the fire.
The fact that the fight is also just kaathe and frampts champions being manipulated against each other is also a neat nod to souls lore.
Fun Fact but Oscar had a cut questline where he would show up to oppose the players choice at the end of the game. Clearly being manipulated by the other serpent.
A song that tells and prophesies the end of an era and perhaps the last song that will resonate in the darkness or perhaps a miracle of fire dwells among the ashes that shine next to these rhymes

Something i would love to share about not just the song but chosenborn itself is that it got me into dark souls and it holds a very very special place in my heart
Nice. Honestly this track was begging for a remaster when I first heard it. The OG mix was fine, but I could tell the vocal parts needed better mixing as it drowned out some of the music and vice versa. This sounds soo much better, a mix of both the music and vocals. Thank you again Brandon, hopefully the OST can come back in some way. Till then, we appreciate these remasters of seasons past. Keep up the amazing work.
And let the crew know we all hope the show can come back, and that we will wait for them, no matter how long it takes.

My favorite part is when the chosen undead took an arrow to the knee as well as Dawnbreaker vs Moonlight blade fight.
The dragon born should've just given the chosen one meridias beacon, that would've annoyed him to death
This is great to see Fire Born and All-Consuming got remastered.
But do you mind if you can try to remaster the others like Strongest Alive(Deku Vs Asta)? Discordant Decipher(Bill Vs Discord)? Or even Chaos Unraveled(Shadow Vs Ryuko)?

@@StevenJVoltlovesmango Not Actual Size, Change X Of X Heart, Jailhouse Rocket, Forevermore, Mind Over Matter, Who Wears The Crown, Forever Terror Night, and Wubba-Lubba-Allons-Y are all Therewolf’s season 10 tracks, and I’m not sure if he’s remastering his tracks.
(All-Consuming was an exception because that’s actually a Yates track with Therewolf’s collaboration, so it makes sense that Yates was able to remaster that as it wasn’t solely Therewolf’s track)

I could be wrong but when I hear the lyrics:

I almost assume imply both characters. Chosen dead protecting people from the darkness while the Dragonborn protecting people from the fire of dragons.
No its a reference to dark souls endings where you either kindle the fire or let the age of dark begin.
The dark is unknown and unpredictable thus many are scared of it especially gods like gwyn who will lose his power. Theres also the perversion of the darkwraiths and abyss.
The fire being relit countless times and not being naturally phased out for dark eventually caused time to stagnate as clarified in the japanese text and as shown in ds3 basically destroyed the world and has the undead curse get stronger the closer it is to fading.
Essentially while the age of dark could bring anything the age of fire MUST end. Ds3 hammers this home especially as choosing to relight it in that game is noticeably weaker than ds1 and in the ringed city dlc you fight gael in a barren ashy wasteland.
The fire keeper in 3 can even be given eyes to see that the flame needs to fade and the cycle shifted to dark as fire will one day come back but naturally and not painfully kept going.
Both lines fit to both characters. Chosen Undead has to decide if he want's to save the people from the fire of the First Flame or from the darkness when it fades out. Dragonborn protects the peolple from the fire spitting dragons but his main goal is to prevent the darkness when Alduin consumes everything.

Someone please make a mod where you fight the chosen undead in skyrim. Missions being the same fight as the death battle: defeat the chosen undead (warrior style), defeat the chosen undead with magic, defeat the chosen with dawnbreaker and finally: use bend will to link the flame (make the chosen undead your companion) or use unrelenting force to let it die out (get one of the chosen undead’s weapon of your choice)
Scaling the dragonborn to infinity was fucking absurd given the metaplot of alduin not fulfilling his role but this is still a banger track
Honestly, not that far of a comparison with what the Neravar and Hero of Kvatch pulled, one facing Dagoth Ur and one becoming Sheogorath
@John-Stark I would argue extenuating circumstances for each. What with Sheogorath specifically setting you up to take his place. I always took that it can be inferred that the hero became Sheo over time after the end of the DLC more than anything. Nerevar though despite their power would have had no chance against Dagoth without those specific artifacts to let them overcome their GRAND AND INTOXICATING INNOCENCE.
The Chosen undead scaling was also wack. He got near lightspeed off of a spell that's in ds3 and they highballed him to universal and by extent every undead in dark souls since all are capable of lighting the first flame.

It feels like they just went with I finite power Alduin scaling because that's the only thing that would beat universal dark souls even though both games stories are telling you that's not happening such as alduin not being at full power.
Scaling the dragonborn's speed off of a magic bow he fires is pretty absurd. I can shoot a gun but I'm not moving at the speed of sound.
Funnily enough despite scaling to a sun shooting arrow that makes him 250xftl he's still slower than DIO. Death battle logic.
If they were gonna highball ds to universal they should've atleast used the ashen one to argue the logic that he's defeated the culmination of those that linked the fire in the soul of cinder. If they ever use him in an episode the numbers are gonna be ridiculous.

Brandon, I don't know if you'll even read this, but if you do... I don't use social media that often, so I don't know if you've answered this before. Will there ever be a way to listen to the original versions of your death battle tracks outside of the death battles themselves? not that the remasters don't slap.

Even now I wish the chosen undead won the fight. But I already knew the chosen undead was weaker than the other 2 souls protags and even then they appearently scale up to only universal, while some of elderscrolls strongest characters are so much more powerfull than what the souls series could offer.
Eh both were egregiously overstated.
The dragonborn did not beat a multiversal to potentially infinite world eater alduin. You stop him before he gets that powerful with three other nordic warriors spirits who fought him before. You also have the dragonrend shout at this point to even hurt alduin.
The speed was also really bad as they calced a magic bow with special arrows to know how fast the db could move.
The universal dark souls calc was also oof. By this logic every undead in ds is universal as all of then can kindle the flame yet we see numerous undead and humans In ds die by things ranging from falls to being crushed.

Also the ashen one by this logic would be far stronger than just universal since he defeated the soul of cinder who is the amalgamation of every undead who linked the fire including the chosen and gwyn. He also defeated slave knight Gael who had the dark soul at the time.
Regardless I still think db would take it as he does have a somewhat fair argument in beating miraak who apparently split off part of an island in a days long battle alongside the thuum being an advantage over the chosens more limited magic that would already be matched b the dragonborns own.
The chosen undead is genuinely outmatched and his only hope would be a war of attrition where the dragonborn eventually makes a mistake or doesnt have the proper time to recover or the cu spends years devouring souls to keep gradually becoming more powerful.
Gameplay only would also be a more fair argument.
