On the mustang bridge I swap the grub screw for a thumb screw. USA and mexican is a 10-32 UNF thread and japan is 5mm. No more forgetting your allen key.
What about the bronco trem??? I swear there was a guitar that had a trem that looked like a mustang trem, but different (not the serviceman strat tremolo)
You can buy an aftermarket break angle piece for about $20 that fits to the jag/jazzmaster tremolo. It avoid’s shimming the neck or sacrificing the action to get the tremolo to work.
What up Jim you think its possible to install the stang trem on cyclone? If not ill just install one on a duo sonic im 👀ing at the moment keep rocking man👍
The six screws on the strat are to tight. Almost no one addresses the proper way to set up the front of the bridge plate. Look a pro luthier Galeazzo Frudua, he has a series of videos.
ALSO vitally important on tuning & what we see frequently- INTONATE the bridge!

Best comparison of the different systems. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful for you! Thanks for the comment
The trem demos are inaudible. Can't you hook it up to an amp?
My Tele neck is and always has been shimmed with a old folded over match book.
All hail Jim, king of the wiggle stick/whammo bar.

That's, like, the expensive way of fixing a problem that doesn't really exist. Neckshim of an old business card is free.

I don't see why it couldn't be done but man, that'd be quite the job to do haha
@@AudiomoMusic yup thanks Jim love your guitars by the way too 🎸👍

The treble strings have more tension than the bass strings.
Is the Mustang a screw in or pop in arm?
Mustangs have a collet that keeps the arm in place on the side of the cigar bar tube
AM I high or is the audio out of sync?
Maybe its both, it plays back fine here but on youtube ive had that randomly happen on some videos
