My hair is just like your before the cut now. It’s so long and is super pretty in braids/ braid outs. But for some reason I’ve completely lost my natural curl pattern. My hair is so mushy and limp I’m so nervous about cutting a lot off but it seems like it has to be done🥺 this turned out great

I had something similar happen to me which is why I decided to go short, but I think their may be a way to save your hair. Im thinking about posting a defined wash day for naturals. I think this could help with getting some of your curls back. Make sure you're subscribed and a part of the notification squad.

I actually just found a hairstylist who is going to try to help me save it. She started me off with a good cut instead of shaving it lol and she is going to do biweekly treatments to see if we can get it back. But as far as at home care I am still completely lost. So a detailed video is much needed I would love that! I will stay tuned😩

Thank you! She used a foam to do the coils. I’m not exactly sure which foam, but any foam that you like would work. I personally used Texture Id styling foam to do my coils after the appointment and it lasted for a while!
