Really great value here I think. One of the most powerful bikes I have seen it seems like. I am not a fan of "fat tire" bikes but the raw power of this bike compared to others in the same price range is compelling.

Do you know how to use the cruise control on this bike?

For the same price, you can get an Avonton Aventure 2, from a real e-bike company that has local dealers standing behind it's warranty and who will do repairs if you need it.

I bought my Mokwheel from a dealer near me. They honor the manufacturer warranty so no problem. So far I love it.

@@cato451 so many of these ebike companies will go out of business as market matures, so don't be surprised if a few years from now there is no Mokwheel warranty.
Aventon sales are up near to best selling, and that sales performance will sustain them much longer.
Hope you have a long period of enjoyment before anything goes wrong.

@@rayrussell6258 that’s a good point and something any buyer should consider. I hope to get at least five years fun out of mine.

My bike shop sells both along with himiway. Not sure why you feel like you need to rag on the mokwheel, the Aventon makes awesome bikes also. Just different strokes for different folks.
With the inverter, you could live off the grid with this bike.

@@kerusso3568 You'd have been one of those guys in the '60's who bought a Studebaker, thinking they would never go out of business and they were "different strokes for different folks" at the time.
I'm cautioning people now reading these ebike reviews who don't know a Studebaker from a Ford when it comes to ebike brands. Studebaker warranties were worthless when they went out of business, and you couldn't even get parts and pay for them yourself, none existed.
These fly-by-night bike companies are going to burn a bunch of buyers like you.
Aventon is a market leader, not a Studebaker playing catch up with the Big Boys. Financial strength of a company is important.

Dang that Basalt is a deal. I spent $1300 on a tiny e-bike that has no features lol.

Surprised you didn’t review all the settings on the display, it’s pretty impressive

    ***BUYER BEWARE***
The bike might be a good product but this company is very shady. THIS IS A MONEY GRAB OPERATION. Their support is an absolute nightmare. There are plenty of other bikes just as good in this price range and even less expensive.
