The very first time I heard this song was when I was a teenager, and it was on a cassette tape of George Jones that my grandfather gave me and it’s a beautiful song and I’ve even learned it myself after teaching myself how to play the guitar learn the words and was able to sing and play it. I noticed after that, he had another person having 70s on his all-time greatest hits volume one album and then just recently I heard another first no one came out I think it was and 61 or 62 in this one came out and 68 or something so he’s recording the song like three times and they’re all just as good. I never care for re-record re-record. But when I heard the 70s version of it, it sounded real pretty rest in peace George Jones.
