19:00 I think the reason some Christians think various mental problems are not real or don't need medicine, is they think of all these things as SPIRITUAL problems, not PHYSICAL problems. Or mental health issues lead to behavior problems, which again are to be fixed with spiritual solutions...sin problems are solved by God and the church. I think that some of the thinking is along these lines... Medicine is for physical problems. Bible and church and worship, etc, are what we need to change spiritual issues. This is the way I thought for quite a while, too. But then I realized if I believe humans can have physical birth defects, why don't I think mild to severe problems could happen in their brain? Now mental health issues and professionals are valued by me.
