P-Delta Analysis is a type of analysis that is particularly important for laterally displacing multi-story building structures experiencing a gravity load.
In this video, Paul from SkyCiv will explain in more details:
    1. What is P-Delta Analysis and when it should be used? 00:11
    2. What is the downside of P-Delta Analysis? 02:21

Hi, in the future videos it would be clearer for listeners if no background music, thank you for the good explanation.

Hi, Thanks for the explanation. Could you please tell me if there is any specific name given to P small delta effect ? Or what is it called in analysis softwares ? I wanted to investigate the effect of axial load on the stiffness of a multi storey frame. Thanks

You said its a mult-storey building, I understand the gravity load P is almost zero at the top
If you said lower story columns that would have made sense.
Overall, load would rather acts around centre of mass.

Good point Nazar - thanks for the comment. Correction: that negative P would be from the gravity load from the stories above
