Dab luck on the dust and flat. Good idea to remove the spare before the flat tyre. limit the time the car is on the jack, use the spare laid flat under the vehicles side as a safety should the vehiclle slip on the raised jack.
Hi John, thanks for the tips. I will definitely do that next time for sure. I haven't had to change many flat tyres in my time, so any tips are helpful. Thanks for watching!
The first recovery gear is a tire plug kit. Have a look at sparkys on the loose. Also have a look at going overland washing video and his latest ev video. I have the same camper. To get to them remote places. Light, same width as car and low. But becomes a small van. Also Paul wheel drive tent pegs tip. Russell
I feel for you guys Invest if you haven’t already In a tyre plug kit and a 12v compressor Tyre fixed in 5 minutes with out taking the wheel off90% of the time
Hi Ben, its a chinese import one, i made an installation video when i installed it. I got it from an ebay store called force 4x4, if i had more time i would have just imported it directly from china from alibaba. video link below th-cam.com/video/SHesICi3aL0/w-d-xo.html
I have to comment on the fuel what a rip off $2:85 that's a price the can charge the mining company but tourism should be $2 I've worked up those areas transport costs are minimal it's gouging. That aside enjoy the trip it's beautiful up there something you'll remember for life. Some of the time's I remember are when problems come up and thinking out of the box and laughed later.

Tyre plugs are a great roadside repair option but if you have the tyre off the rim a glued patch on the inside is much better repair

Another great video showing just how much there is to see in Aussie
Glad you enjoyed it!

Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar de DuPont, cinco veces más resistente que el acero 👍
I have a great wall steed and I had the exact same problem lowering the spare tyre on that as well where the lever goes near the number plate.
Oh really, thats good to know!
i built a van with a dust suppression systerm that does not require power nor does it require setting it works continually
Nice work, i would love to build my own van one day!

Thanks Wayne, I have a 12v compressor but don't have a plug kit. Will definitely look into getting one soon though.
The tyre was only flat on the bottom. Just jack it up and turn it a bit.
Haha 😄
A very high risk travelling with kids. Leave it to the most experienced.
Don’t feel bad. My kids live in Karratha and did two tyres on their trip to Karrajini. Still loved it!
Oh true, yeh I heard that road is notorious for causing flat tyres! Thanks for watching!
