    BTW i am curious about the flute you are using in your vids. Is it made of silver ?

      Hi van - I just saw you other comment too, but I'll answer you here as well :)
      My flute is a Muramatsu EX model with a Williams head joint. The body is silver plated, and the head joint is solid silver.

      @@JaneFluteSchool Thanks Jane ! I really wonder how it feels like to play with a high-end flute... mine is a Thomann (German online retailer with its own brand), a model called Kotori, with a B-foot and closed holes. I really like it, but it's still a budget model :)

    Okay so when playing, does it matter if you have thin lips?

      Averie - no it definitely doesn't matter if you have thin lips. I've seen amazing flute players with all different sized lips. Good luck!

      You should get your flute checked

      Yes Joel, it's a great idea to get your flute checked. If you have followed the mini-course lessons and can't get a sound still, it could be your flute!
