Just tried these over the weekend, saw it on the menu and snagged. REALLY great. Some wings were a little under, but the flavor and Popeyes breading was supreme

Let's be honest, the main reason they got those containers was so the employees could just throw them in straight out of the fryer, sauce them, close the lid and shake them up so they dont have to do more dishes lol
Dishes equal time. Time equals money. I ran multiple KFCs for over a decade and you would be shocked at the things YUM foods did to cut costs.

8.8? I'm trying these wings NOW. I've been so disappointed with wings lately. Everywhere has either tiny wings that ain't worth gnawing through or these huge fatty wings that are like chewing on raw bacon. These wings look fantastic. Crispy, good size, and the sauce sounds interesting.
I did wings from the grocery store on my smoker recently and they were fantastic, also the air fryer turns out good too
These were small but actually crunchy fried chicken.
You also can order the sauce on the side.
You're so spot on with that description, it's either tiny strings of meat and tendon wrapped around bones or it's raw flabby uncooked bacon wrapped around bones. Wings are still my favorite food of all time and they haven't been satisfying in forever, I've been dying over here 😭

@@emsparklemoji I just bought a dozen of these and they are freaking amazing. And I disagree with Brah, the ranch works really nicely with the sauce. Makes it sweet, tangy, creamy and spicy.

As a garlic lover I have to say the garlic flavor was actually very prominent, so if you love garlic you might be pleasantly surprised as I was after watching this

I do believe they'd already hit it out of the park with the wings, alone. That's where the spice lies. The sweetness comes from the sauce, which is complimentary.
I saw these come up but was really skeptical. This actually convinced me to try it. Yet another W for reviewbrah

My only real issue with Popeye's is a general lack of accountability. For over a year, now, I've still gotten ads for them, advertising not just party size portions, but for the individual. Yet in the same amount of time, I've not been able to order a dinner for a single person. I'm disabled, so the only option for me is delivery, but when, though they are advertising them, I can't get food from them without spending at least $40... And not $40 of the individual dinners, but basically just buckets of chicken. Fried chicken doesn't freeze that great...
Corporate blamed the local store. The local store blamed corporate. "They're on the menu. I don't know why you can't order them."
But, seeing this, I'm going to be trying again.

No the customer service has me so worked up sometimes and i've been in fast food so i'm nicer to them than most individuals. But like mf why are you giving me 2 fries in total when I ordered a large.

It is a weird trained place. They act like you are bothering them. I was there one day about noon. They were waiting for the delivery truck and were out of chicken.

i dislike when they don't coat the entire wings with the sauce. I've tried them & they were fully coated which made them really good. I also dislike all the flats they give either, I like to have an even amount of drums & flats. All in all they are pretty good wings

This guy was definitely raised watching old 1930's Movietone News reels. The narration of the news reels sound eerily similar to this guy's voice. . I always liked the way the guy announced the news on those old clips and find it fascinating he sounds like that too. Great reviews.

I will be trying them out for myself today and I am looking forward to it. If they are as good as Pizza Hut's sweet heat wings, they are right up my alley. I usually smother my chicken in Frank's red hot sauce but I love the combination of sweet and spicy.
Way bette than the sweet heat from Pizza Hut. Wings are smaller, but taste better.
I loved that scenerio with the Van Gogh Arles painting and those masks from Phantom of the Opera. It really matches with your gentleman style! 🍷🗿
I just had some of these an hour ago there are just spicy version of wings with the sweet heat sauce on top honestly they're delicious if you love sweet pea and you like spicy wings these are gonna be heaven.

I love getting a six piece of these and a chicken sandwich. The place I go to often uses a generous amount of sauce, so you can eat the wings and dip the sandwich in that little bit of wing sauce still left on the bottom of the container. Great stuff 👍
Shake the container while closed for optimal sauce distribution. You may or may not add the side sauce before manual agitation.

I tried these when they came out. I love popeyes sweet heat sauce and these have a different flavor but similar concept. Very good wings but I do prefer the ghost pepper wings. Would get either or both again for sure.

i tried these. they were very flavorful but a little intense on their own. i did order a frozen strawberry lemonade, which helped. the spice is not timid but the sweetness is up front too. decent price. give it a shot.

wings , boneless or otherwise, when sauces then charred or fried again to cook on the suace to the breading …. ive taken home wings like these and flash pan fried them…. omg it’s something special. the true foodies gotta try this so good. thanks chicken brah

I had these on monday (they were bogo on postmates). They were quite good! mine were not fully coated, but they gave me an extra sauce on the side so it was fine. I'll probably have them again. especially if they stay on bogo :-)

The ghost pepper ones were really good. Ill have to give this a chance. I used to dislike Popeyes but its been growing on me in recent years.
I liked their Ghost Pepper wings and I like the Sweet and Spicy wings. They’re the only ones that have a little spice. And bear in mind, that a wing is really only one part of the wing. You’re really only getting three whole wings.
Yeah, that was the scam of the century when they started giving you pieces of wings but kept calling them wings.
Ghost Pepper Wings are my all time favorite.

Hey, I tried KFC's new Hot and Spicy Wings and was really impressed and you get 8 for $4.99 compared to 6 for $5.99 at Popeye's. The only difference is KFC charges for extra sauce if you want it. But they were really good, I'd say just as good as Popeye's Ghost Pepper Wings.

I watch all the Popeye’s reviews, but the closest one to me is an hour away so I’ve only had it once.
These were definitely some of their better wings.
