I caught the world's EASIEST home run at Kauffman Stadium

- This was my 78th game home run ball, and it was SO EASY that I was almost embarrassed. I barely had to move for it, but hey, sometimes it's nice to avoid a struggle. In case you're interested, here's the complete list of all the home runs I've gotten at MLB stadiums:

As promised, here are details for all the baseballs that I snagged at this game at Kauffman Stadium:
1) cup trick for a toss-up that had been thrown short to Big Glove Bob
2) thrown by Cleveland Indians pitcher Zach Plesac
3) thrown by Indians 3rd base coach Kyle Hudson
4) ground-rule double hit by the Indians during batting practice
5) pre-game toss-up from Indians shortstop Amed Rosario
6) Adalberto Mondesi home run, bottom of the 4th inning, 1 out, 1-0 pitch from Logan Allen, very easy
7) warm-up ball thrown by Indians center fielder Myles Straw in the middle of the 10th inning

Such a great ballpark. We visited there for our first time this summer on a road trip out to Denver. Such great hospitality and the fans there were so friendly, too. We were wearing Brewers gear (even though the Brewers were not playing) and we had so many people come up to talk to us about all of the trades the Brewers and Royals have made over the years. Congrats on your home run!

When I was younger, I remember reading a book that had to do with critiquing MLB stadium food, and I believe Kaufman Stadium (wasn't it Royals Stadium at one point ?) was voted as best. This was before most teams had new updated stadiums. Since Zack has been to every stadium, that could be a new book idea.👍
I’ve been to all 30 within the last three years and I can tell you without a doubt the best food can be found at Chase Field in AZ, Tmobile Park in Seattle and Target Field in Minnesota.
The funnel cakes are a must have at the K.
can tell you, I just recently went to a St Louis game and the food was disgusting, made me miss royals games so much

I think these stadiums should have a row reserved for you. When you get there, they have an abundance of food, drinks, baseballs, and signed memorabilia. The least they can do for a living legend that graces them with his presence.

I had season tickets as a kid to the Dbacks at BOB from ‘98-‘07 and went go to almost every single home game during that period (missed less than ten games). I would go with my best friend 2-3 hours before so we could get in the second they opened the gates for batting practice. Over that ten years I caught hundreds of balls if not thousands during BP and from throw ups from the field. During that same span I only ever caught one single foul ball during the game… it was majestic. I was 11 years old during their 2001 championship season and i was sitting behind home plate when my guy Steve Finley came to bat. He hit a towering pop up that almost hit the roof right behind home plate. I remember standing up watching that ball like a hawk watching a mouse. I put my glove up, caught the ball on the fly and the crowd went wild. They put me on the jumbo tron and my ten year old self took a bow haha. One of my favorite memories from Bank one Ballpark.
