I'm a 62 Year Old Boston Born and Bred Rocker. Today, October 30th 2014 the City of Boston Lost it's Longest Running Mayor, (For MANY Good Reasons), Mayor Thomas Menino. Obviously I Realize in Our Culture Solemn Songs are Played When an Individual Passes. However the Lyrics "Boston Your MY HOME" Seemed to Me Extremely Befitting of This Man of Integrity, High Character and Multiple Major Accomplishments All for His Home, Boston.
thank you for this....i HAD to share it as soooooo totally appropriate, and perfect, to share with all who call boston home....which today, marathon 2014, is the whole world!!!! #BostonStrong
So my home town of 13.000 would be big to you wow! Would love to see Montana my friend visted and she said it was lovely part in some parts you saw nothing for miles. Kinda hard for me to imagine.
In the summer a lot of peope come to visit. Yes it has a lot of old brownstowns and quite a few high rises as well. Cheers has been redone it used to be called "The Bull and Finch" and the tourists couldn't find it lol Couldn't find a pic of the way it used to look and the bar inside looked nithing like the TV set as well.. You must live rural? I grew up in a little town forty miles from Boston very country, very different from Boston.
I agree. Boston rules. Do not bring us trouble in Bean town, unless you want trouble back Boston is the greatest. Patty Larkin was a rockin at Jack's when life was more carefree. Don't mess with us. We love our Charles River and we love our freedom. Remember we knew when 'terrorist' were coming since the days of Paul Revere. Word Up !
I'm writing this on Thanksgiving Day 2022 and it's still true today,ifBoston wasn't here,America would not be here, oh thanks to my ancestors, and yours if you are in Massachusetts born anywhere in the colonies that's my gratitude and my thanks for today for 2022 God Bless Boston,Quincy, and Western Massachusetts, for their part , establishing America Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
No I grew up not to close but not to far away from Boston. "Boston Your My Home" is a popular saying around here. No currenty I live just outside Boston three or four miles "Metro North" the rent is much cheaper and I used to work in Boston before I got sick so it was an easy commute

In Montana all the "big cities" look like small towns compared to where you live!
as with all my relationships it's a love hate thing.. I love being from Boston but I hate it when I'm here!
we're all chowds right now
Oops misspelling! The file is on a old hard drive would have to find it
Think I got confused! I thought all these picts with all the tall buildings and tons of people was YOUR home town.
you mind if I use this for an event im doing?
No not at all what is the event?
Er, WasOneOnce, you need to correct your spelling. It is "Boston, You're My Home." (You're =You are!)
Wtf is with all the blurry photos? Thumbs down.
