The (possible) 8 point try is when there is foul play when a try is being scored from the opposite team defending. In this case, The paramatta player was hit in the head dangerously as he was scoring, therefor they get 2 kicks at goal. Hope that makes sense, love your nrl vids :)
@@gohammtvThe kick after the try is always where they score the try and then the second kick (penalty kick) is from right in front. They say “possible” 8 point try because they aren’t guaranteed to make both kicks which in this game he only made 1 of the 2 therefore only got 6 points and could’ve gotten 8. Hope that makes sense.
This was Eels last game of the year so they had a lot to play for, and had their best game of the year probably. Panthers still had a good team but are slowly resting players as it’s getting close to finals, one of their players Luai also got injured this game
Penalty try...First kick was try convention because that's the angle the try was grounded on and second kick was the Penalty kick which are always taken straight in front if awarded a penalty try.
Panthers best team in the league however this game they had injuries and resting one of their best players and also they had another one of their best players get injured early in the game.
what he didn''t mention is the eels are the only team to beat the panthers 6 out of 8 games - sadly one time the Panthers won was the grand final last year against the eels. The Eels have been a top team for the last 5 yrs, they have just had a terrible year. @@gohammtv
I'm an Eels fan. Unfortunately they just fell short of reaching the finals this year. They are probably the only team who have a good record over the Panthers in recent years. Not sure if you're aware but our finals (playoffs) start the week after next. It would be worth reacting to as many of those games as you can. Top 8 teams. Enjoying your reactions man.
Another reason the eels won, in addition to a lot of the other comments of here, is that their play style just counters the panthers really well. Sometimes it just happens.
As a Panthers fan I knew this would be the game you reacted to lol. Well done to do the Eeels, it's always a good battle between our teams. The panthers were resting players ready for the finals, and most of the points were scored near a player who was having his first game in 1st grade (Plus the injury on the night). The Eels just 'wanted it more'
@@johnprater8191 they rested dylan edwards and sunia turuva. there fullback and a winger, both inform. sorensen is also not playing, tago is injured, luai just got injured, mitch kenny isnt playing and even more players ive missed. thats 6 of their starting players ive named that didnt play.... theres still taylan may. they rested 2 players last week aswell, its not just the final week
Yo big man, the eels made the grand final last year, they have wins like this in them but had a disappointing season, definitely should’ve been in the top 8. That’s why they won like that plus they play good against the panthers cause of rivalry
Top 8 atm is 1 Panthers 2 Broncos 3 Warriors 4 Storm 5 Sharks 6 Raiders 7 Knights 8 Rabbitohs The top for are locked in. The bottom 4 clubs could charge . The Broncos play raiders today and knights v sharks tomorrow. This is the second last round then finals. The top 4 teams get a second chance if they lose. The bottom get knocked out the finals if they lose.
Parra has been missing key players all year injury and suspension has killed them nice to see them have ago as they always do in the local western Sydney derby , the flick was from Dylan Brown who had been suspended for 7 weeks for being a naughty boy as i said him along with Sivo and Reagan Campell Gillard had a lot of Suspension time and Shaun Lane out most of the year injured . The 8 point try can happen if there is a foul against the try scorer it means you get a shot at goal from the point in line where the try was scored and then a second shot from directly in front of the post does not happen very often. Eels are in 10th place will not make the final 8 .
These 2 clubs were the grand final team last year. The panthers won it for the 2nd year in a row. They are going for a 3peat this year. Finals are in 2 weeks. Parramatta seem to be a bogie team for panthers. Parra are not in the finals run
In regards to the 8 point try, this video from 2011 between the Gold Coast Titans vs Brisbane Broncos should explain it pretty clear hopefully! m.th-cam.com/video/uERq3GZUpSw/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUPTnJsIDggcG9pbnQgdHJ5
the panthers were top team till this with this they will likely be second and the broncos first with one round to go next week . the eels were in the grand final last year . But they will miss the final 8 this year they have the bye next week. the panthers youserly rest players in there last round game for the finals but if they do that this year they will more than likely hand the minor primership to the broncos. So it will be good to see if they do this, do they want the primership or both.

SIVO! SIVO! SIVO! Damn the Sivo chant would’ve popped off at Commbank stadium (paras home ground)

Thanks bro this helped alot
It's finals time baby!
You've gotta try'n cover all the finals games bro. Next level intensity & should be some great game's.

Ookok that makes sense I knew it had to be something

The eels played really well

who did they rest ? they youserly rest players in the final game not this one and by losing this i think they handed the minor to the broncos.

ok thanks for that i missed that edwards did not play i had to watch replay as i was working. still means the broncos likely to win minor

there's a rumour the panthers are resting the last few matches to game the finals.
yea I can see it which is actually smart to be honest
Bro that was a repeat of last year grand final....
Think of it as an And-1 in basketball but for a try
LOL I've got a lot of messages but this one was simple and plain but straight to the point lol love it bro good look

This rounds warrior game is probably only warriors game were not much really happened lol, they won but nothing really happened

Need warriors v dragons !! The warriors last game it was 🔥🔥🔥
Normal conversion after a try, than a penalty kick.
Foul of the ten if twist is 4 points

Fouled on the try. So you you get 2 shots at goal
That’s why it’s a possible 8pt try
