It's crazy how I was in a mentally abusive relationship looking at your videos (when Coco was a baby), taking these videos as my only hope to a better life when you were really in similar situation as me. I remember myself crying looking at you three and thinking one day I will be this happy. It is so refreshing and healing to hear you telling the truth but remember your 'fake' videos helped so many to have hope❤️
It’s so hard to listen to all this stuff about Landon come out. Like I always thought wow he’s such a great dad and husband and she is so lucky to have him. It’s hard realizing that it wasn’t like that. And I am so sorry for everything you went through.
I agree with you i wish nothing but the best for Cam and the girls but going by what cam has stated They and And Landon have both had issues. The situation was sad in my opinion. @@zackminoske1922
I hope that any girl who watched you and thought “ I want a life like that.” Can now watch this current video and realize that it was not as easy or happy as it was portrayed and hopefully make better choices for their own lives. I think it’s really helpful and honestly quite brave for you to be doing these reaction videos now.👏🏼💜Let’s hear it for personal growth.
Please know that you can always go back and get your GED. If you really want it don’t let anything stand in your way! Even if it takes some time, if it will help you it would be worth it.
My 2 year old son exists partially because of those exact old videos of yours. I got pregnant at 20 with him, even named him Wilder (I got his name from the van clan who i only knew existed because of your channel featuring them). I always wanted a baby but your videos definitely gave me that last bit of determination and confidence that i needed to decide to get pregnant. I’m now a single mum with no help from anyone whatsoever at the age of 23 and i love my son to bits but motherhood is not what i thought it would be. I wish i waited until i was much older but i wouldn’t change him for the world now!
As someone who has gone back and rewatched all of your old videos, this peek behind the curtain has been a fantastic way to share more of your story. There are so many people who love you, the real you, and getting to finally meet the real Cam behind the camera all thoes years ago has been a bittersweet experience. I wish so often that I could crawl through the screen and give you a hug... Sit with you and talk about what a stunning, strong, and courageous young person you are. I love you so much, thank you for being you.
When we were on lockdown and I was on school, I would act like my computer won’t work so I could watch your videos. You truly made me really happy and you still do. You are an amazing mother and I am so proud of you.
fun fact when i was 14 my first ever boyfriend broke up with me because i wanted to have a baby after being ~inspired~ by your videos (i’m 19 now with no kids thank god)

For me I became a fan of yours after finding your channel when I had first found out I was 17 and pregnant. I was just searching for someone going through something similar to me and it just brought me comfort when I saw that it was possible to be that young and be a mom. Now sitting here watching these I do see and understand it wasn’t “real” but back then when I was lost and scared your videos helped me so much during that hard point in my life. I had no one to turn to or talk to as side from my boyfriend (now husband). Now I’m 23 and just celebrated my daughter graduating prek today. We’re doing well now. But I thought I’d comment this so you know what your videos did for me. I’m so sorry for what you went through behind the scenes. It’s so true you never really know what others have going on behind closed doors.
This needs to be an ongoing series- love this so much! I watched you from the very beginning so watching you change & grow and NOW look back is really fun and interesting. I love how much insight you have gained. Genuinely great video Camryn.
Hey Camryn, I just wanna say, I really like your sit down videos. I always feel very connected to you. Thank you for your honesty and growth and everything you do. 💐

I wish I could just give you a hug for all the things you had went through I know it was hard on you and every day after that you had to get through it with the girls, I have been here for about 5-6 years now and to see you go through that and even without him even when it got hard you still did it for the girls and your personal health. Your strong and great mom I'm so proud of you ❤❤
I love and appreciate this honest Cam. I love that you’re able to look back, reflect, and say all the things now that you were too proud to admit then. i’m glad you’re posting this now because my high school boyfriend, but now husband and i would watch them and glamorize it and we got pregnant 😂 you made it look soooooo fun and it’s hard
I mean this in no way as a diss to you, but i found you when i was 16 and i definitely think not just you but all the teen mom vloggers at the time played a big influence on me becoming a teen mom. i just felt like it was so glamorous and magical, and it was an extreme shock when i did become a teen mom with not nearly enough money. I am now 24 and feel confident in my motherhood but it took me years. it took years of struggling to find a real good paying job, i struggle with college now, live paycheck to paycheck because when all my friends were starting adulthood i was already thrust into it needing my own place, own food, etc for not only me but my baby and husband and i never want you to feel the blame but more so to see the reality of how making videos that aren’t realistic like this can do. absolutely influenced me to become a teen mom and making these videos now feels very healing for me who was influenced as a child
When i was your age now, i would watch your videos and be angry and upset that my partner and I couldn't have a perfect relationship like you and Landon did. I would watch your videos and wonder why motherhood wasn't as easy for me as it was for these 17 yr old kids. I just found you again after sooo many years & the comfort in my body when i first clicked on your page was overwhelming i wanted to watch every single video i missed, soooo happy i found you & your family again
Thank you for being so vulnerable with us Camryn. Admitting that you were doing your damndest to hide the red flags that their were violent fights happening off camera from the rest of the world is a tough thing to admit. And yes, you definitely were a more privilieged teen mom since you were already living on your own with your partner, could afford a car as well as pay for the other basic necessities could definitely give other teen girls the wrong idea that being a parent is easy. And I love your smile and your giggle 🤭 been following your channel for a long time, and I love seeing how far you've come and how much you have grown into yourself ❤️ despite everything that happened losing Landon.. 😢 so so proud of you Camryn. Lots of love ❤ Your biggest fan all the way from New Zealand 😊 x x
Cam I'm sorry you had a hard time in HS. I am 45 and you are much more in touch with why you feel or felt the way you do then i was at 23, wish you the best.
Cam, you’re a year older than I am, and I’ve actually been watching since Coco was a baby. I remember thinking about wanting to be in such a happy relationship, and then the truth came out after Landon passed. Guys, it’s all in the mentality. Landon probably wasn’t a bad guy, and it’s NEVER an excuse to abuse your wife or family, but he was going through it too. The reason why men tend to just deal with what they’re going through instead of trying to get help, is because MOST people make it seem like guys have to stay strong or it’s “only women” who have bad mental health. It’s literally in men too and it’s not talked about nearly enough! If Landon got the help, he could’ve just left Camryn. Saving a lot of trouble. But sadly, when you can’t take it anymore, you can’t take it anymore. In 2020 when Camryn posted on instagram about Landon passing, I was so heartbroken. At that point, I had been watching for 2-3 years, like DeeDee was a few months old I think 😭 during that time was actually crucial for my mental health too. So I had rewatched this scary movie for the first time in years, in 2020, and there was a scene where a guy offs himself with a shotgun in an outhouse… well, around the time of rewatching that movie, I woke up one day and joined this random guys Facebook livestream. I didn’t know this guy, I was just scrolling and his live popped up, and already hella people were watching. I forget the guys name, but on the livestream he was just upset because his ex broke up with him, and I believe he was fired from a job. But he was just ranting on facebook for a bit, then he takes the shotgun and offs himself on the livestream. Everything was shown, you see his dog come in after and the dog is whining, and everyone is screaming no in the comments and trying to get help. It was so scary and I can’t believe I witnessed that. This was all around the time that I had found out about Landon… another morning, I had woken up, and my mom was telling me that my uncle offed himself in the backyard, and my cousin found him (not by a gunshot wound, but the same way Landon passed). So literally within a couple days, my uncle offs himself, I find out about Landon, I watched a man off himself in a movie, and in real life. My mental health was sooo crazy after that, I’m not even kidding. But I still continued to watch the channel, learned about Landon’s history. If he would’ve gotten help, he could’ve just left you guys. But when you’re already broken, you tend to hurt people you love, and not even realize it. And when you’re already broken, you make decisions that is hard to control. I’m having to relearn to cope with my anxiety and stuff 😭 This is just one of those cases where someone was honestly just human and didn’t know what to do. Now if he was a serial killer then offed himself, I’d feel different lol.
Wow, thank you for being so honest! That can really help a lot of people. And as others have mentioned, it's never too late to get your GED! You can do it! :D
You should react to the video you made of telling us what happened to Landon and maybe explaining more of what you were expressing and just your opinion now on it……… you don’t have to If it makes you uncomfortable obviously it’s just a request. Love your videos❤
Its not too late to get your GED!! Obviously I don't know you but I have a feeling that you wouldn't have to study too much for it :) You seem so intelligent and I think you'd pass no problem :)
My daughter is a teen mom she's 16 years old and her baby is 3 weeks old. I'm going to get her to watch your videos. I wish you were able to communicate with her. I'm re- enrolling her in school. She had to take off the year. I'm taking her back today so we can pick out her classes. Your a amazing mom
27:37 - I get that your falsely idyllic representation of teen pregnancy misguided teenagers into thinking teen pregnancy is a good idea, but I don't think your videos are fully to blame if a teenager decides to get pregnant after watching them. Maybe there were other factors. Maybe prior to watching your videos they felt purposeless and thought a baby might solve it. Also, it is their responsibility to consider the downsides of teen pregnancy and I feel like a lack of money would be a deterrent, but maybe that's just me and I am coming from a privileged perspective. However, I'm a teenager and if I had baby fever and was watching your videos but knew I couldn't financially support a baby, I would still decide not to get pregnant. If I was making lots of money, getting pregnant would seem more appealing, but I'd have to consider other things like my own maturity and whether I had enough support. Ngl it's kinda their fault if they didn't consider that (although teenagers do have undeveloped brains). You don't have to completely blame yourself.
I'm been here sin you're first video you posted and I remember when you introduced Maddy and I still love watching you both and it's so crazy how far you both have come

Cam really has grown a lot
Wow, thank you for being so honest! That can really help a lot of people. And as others have mentioned, it's never too late to get your GED! You can do it! :D
You should react to the video you made of telling us what happened to Landon and maybe explaining more of what you were expressing and just your opinion now on it……… you don’t have to If it makes you uncomfortable obviously it’s just a request. Love your videos❤
Its not too late to get your GED!! Obviously I don't know you but I have a feeling that you wouldn't have to study too much for it :) You seem so intelligent and I think you'd pass no problem :)

YAY PART 2!!
I have been here since the beginning
I'm been here sin you're first video you posted and I remember when you introduced Maddy and I still love watching you both and it's so crazy how far you both have come
you can always go back and finish your high school or get your ged! never too late my mom got her ged then high school in her 30's

Don’t put yourself to down for being weird at the time, you were a closeted teenager that would later rethink your gender identity. That just happens

Hi Cam I was just wondering, if you werent thinking about graduating high school now or in the future? Ive seen young mothers do that later. I am not being rude or anything, I was just wondering if you ae considering it or if you choose to make things work out without it at all . BTW loved your videos when you were young, but I love your videos now even more, because the growth you underwent is just huge and i love your personality and opinions 💜
