Shabir Ali admitted on camera that the palimpsest was erased and rewritten. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:221)
"And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she may please you. And do not give (your women) in marriage to polytheistic men until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he may please you. Those invite to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember."

"This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers."

Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) happened to be the last to deliver the final message which in turn became a religion known as Islam. So yes, Islam is the last religion but in order to get to the last religion, God appointed certain people known as prophets to lead mankind to the straight path. That's why there's the story of Noah's Ark, Moses, Jesus, etc. They are all prophets and trying to save mankind from their own destruction. So my point is, every religion is similar because it is connected to the last one. I believe there's still the orthodox Jewish people who doesn't eat pork and consume alcohol. Their religion is similar to Islam and they are not wrong. There are differences but to debate over which religion is the correct one is actually ridiculous.

Since the beginning, there's different religions and prophets. Each prophet is appointed to deliver the message from God. They tried their very best but mankind will eventually listen to the whispers of the devil and start worshipping statues, etc. other than God. So each prophet are only able to save the ones who follow him. They will be granted paradise because they tried despite of being mocked at or tortured by the disbelievers.
Anything memorised over years unwritten and passed down by word of mouth is never correct. If you told a friend, a story then he told two friends and those each told two friends and they told me. It would almost be a completely a different story. That is a human fact.

The whole problem is, the Quran is not meant to be translated into English. That's why it can be translated wrongly. The only Quran which is correct is mostly the Arabic versions. So in order for you to learn is to learn Arabic. It's as simple as that.

Another thing the Muslims fail to consider (apart from the fact that the Kalifs moved verses around and the first verse is now all the way in chapter 96 of the Quran with zero authority from Allah or Muhammad to do that
but besides all of that so what if it's preserved? Does that make it true? We have Egyptian hieroglyphs and Greek and Roman texts from long before Islam so does that make it true because it's preserved
6. Loss of the major part of the Qur'an: There are a lot of traditions in Sunni books which show that the Qur'an was much much more than what the Muslims have in their hands. "At-Tabarani has narrated with trustworthy chain of narrators from 'Umar ibn al-Khattab that he said, 'The Qur'an is one million and twenty seven thousand letters..."12 But the total of the letters in the whole Qur'an is not more than 267,053 as is recorded at the end of many editions of the Qur'an.
In other words, three-fourth of the Qur'an was lost! And the companion 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar is reported as saying, "None of you should ever say, 'I have got the whole Qur'an.' And what would make you know what the whole Qur'an was. Certainly a lot of Qur'an has gone. One should rather say, 'I have got what has appeared from it."

Ibn Umar al-Khattab- "Let no one of you say that he has acquired the entire Qur’an for how does he know that it is all? Much of the Qur’an has been lost, thus let him say, ‘I have acquired of it what is available"’ (Suyuti: Itqan, part 3, page 72).

Many verses and even whole suras of the Quran have been lost forever, especially during the battle of yamama (Ibn Abi Dawud, Kitab al-Masahif p. 23). Others were simply forgotten (Muslim 1050) and the early muslims had huge differences between their recitations, so that they feared a splitting between the muslims (Bukhari 4987). Thats why they decided, to choose one version of what was left from the Quran and to write it down into one book (Bukhari 4679).
So they took what was left from the Quran from stones, leaves, bones, animal-skins and the memories of different muslims (Bukhari 4679). Some verses were only found by particular people and no one else remembered them (Bukhari 4679; 4986), about other verses it gave disputes (Bukhari 4944; Jami at Tirmidhi 3104) and others were left out and not put in the Quran, while even the "master of the Quran", Ubay ibn Ka'b said, that they were part of it (Bukhari 5005), or Umar (Abi Dawud 4418), or Aisha (Muslim 1452). And some of these verses were supposedly eaten by a goat (Ibn Majah 1944).
Ubay ibn Ka'b was one of the four recitators, from which the muslims should learn the Quran, according to Mohammed (Bukhari 3808; 4999).
The recitation of Ubay ibn Ka'b had 116 suras, and the suras and the verses had a different order than the versions of the Quran of today. And they had also differences in the text. For example had the verse 33,6 in Ubay's version the addition "and he is the father of them", as we can read in a the footnote of Yousef Ali in his english translation of the Quran.
The first one of Mohammed's list of the four recitators from whom the muslims should learn the Quran was ibn Masud (Bukhari 3808; 4999). His recitation only had 111 suras and also in his version, the verses and suras had a different order. And he had also differences in the text of his recitation. For example did he and Abu Darda recite Sura 92,3 this way (Bukhari 4944):
وَالذَّكَرِ وَالأُنْثَى
"By the male and the female"
But in the Quran today we read:
وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنْثَى
"By him who created the male and the female"
Ibn Masud, the first one on Mohammeds list of the four people, from whom the muslims should learn the Quran, disliked the Quran of Uthman so much, that he did not accept it (Jami at Tirmidhi 3104).
You know, Uthman. The guy who decided to burn the original-manuscripts (fragments) (Bukhari 4987) and to destroy the 7 ahruf, from which Mohammed said they were revelations from Allah

Ibn Abi Maryam related to us from Ibn Luhai’a from Abu’l-Aswad from Urwa b. az-Zubair from Aisha who said, “Surat al-Ahzab Surah 33 used to be recited in the time of the Prophet with 200 verses, but when Uthman wrote out the codices, he was unable to procure more of it than there is in it today.”
So according to Muhammad’s (child bride) Aisha Surah 33 used to be recited with 200 verses but when the caliph Uthman decided to distribute his written version of the Quran, Muslims could only find what’s in the chapter today, 73 verses! Aisha Mohammed’s wife confirmed that 127 verses are missing from Surah 33 of the perfect and MIRACULOUSLY PRESERVED Quran.
Some academics even claim that originally Surah 33 consisted of 286 verses!!!

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: When the time of the death of the Prophet (ﷺ) approached while there were some men in the house, and among them was `Umar bin Al-Khatttab, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Come near let me write for you a writing after which you will never go astray." `Umar said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) is seriously ill, and you have the Qur'an, so Allah's Book is sufficient for us." The people in the house differed and disputed. Some of them said, "Come near so that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) may write for you a writing after which you will not go astray," while some of them said what `Umar said. When they made much noise and differed greatly before the Prophet, he said to them, "Go away and leave me." Ibn `Abbas used to say, "It was a great disaster that their difference and noise prevented Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) from writing that writing for them. sunnah.com/bukhari/

Quran's edited when a disabled man objected
This change in the wording of the verse is actually recorded in the ahadith. Muhammad recited the simpler verse first; a disabled man objected because he wanted to go on jihad but could not. After that, Allah conveniently "revealed" the correction we now see in the Qur'an: "except those who are disabled". Hmm. HOW can Allah correct a "perfect", eternal" Qur'an? Especially, HOW can he do so on the prompting of mere human beings??? Once again, Islam makes ZERO sense.

But that’s the point, they couldn’t burn papers!!! There are constant references to copies or pages of the Qur’an being written down on *paper, but paper was not in use in the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century CE.
Paper making only reached the Arabian Peninsula by the 9th century. Before these documents were written on papyrus or animal skins. As confirmed in Sahih Burkhari 9.89.301. Therefore any reference to paper in the Quran or Hadiths was obviously written after the 9th century and projected back into documents claiming to be earlier.

Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created the clay on Saturday and He created the mountains on Sunday and He created the trees on Monday and He created the things entailing labour on Tuesday and created light on Wednesday and He caused the animals to spread on Thursday and created Adam (peace be upon him) after 'Asr on Friday; the last creation at the last hour of the hours of Friday. (7 Days).

He Forgot the Koran so many times that his followers were already coming to blows about variations in recitations within his life time. “Malik said among what had been narrated by Ibn Wahb and Ibn Al Qasim and Ibn Abdul Hakam is that when the first part of Surat Bara’at was lost, ‘Bismillah Al Rahman Al Raheem’ was also lost along with it. It has also been narrated from Ibn Ajlan that he heard that Surat Bara’at was equal to the length of Surat Al Baqarah or approximately equal to it, so the part was gone and because of that ‘Bismillah Al Rahman Al Raheem’ wasn’t written between them (between the lost and the remaining part).” (Tafsir al-Qurtubi, Volume 8, p. 62, Surah Bara`t [Chapter 9]
