- This mod is crucial for the rest of my build. No point in making extra power if it gets heat-soaked after a few pulls. This should keep my air temps cool 🥶🥶

Did the install in my friend's driveway with 2 other guys in 2 days, was definitely worth it especially for having peace of mind while flashing phearable stage 3. I did use PLM's intercooler but the process was identical

I would imagine you know by now, but when you increase the volume of air such as the larger intercooler, boost pressure will drop while netting the same power or more.
I have a 2018 2.0 and I'm definitely buying this for my accord might even do the ktune

You can find toque wrench like 50 bugs easy from hyper fright tool shop infect you might find cheaper one.

@@JDUB2580TH-cam both my front seat belt mounts buzz/rattle, I have a rattle behind the screen and my back seat rattles too (probably the seatbelt mount there too) I went to the dealer and of course no help even though they used some padding tape on the seat belt areas which didn’t work, I ended up using some sort of thick ass weather stripping that sorta worked but now the panels don’t look flush, they’re sort of bent from the thick tape idk how to explain it. I know Honda is better than this so it annoys me a lot, especially on a brand new car.

The passenger side of the intercooler. It was 18ft/lb

Yes. I think because it’s a bigger intercooler it takes a second to build pressure

Great video. Where did you get the steering wheel? Curious what options are out there I would like something a little more sporty for mine, I have a white 2018 touring with few mods myself.
The wheel itself is stock with some paddle extensions and a cover

@@JDUB2580TH-cam ever thought about just scuffing and spraying them yourself? My first car was a 94 Honda prelude SI, And after that I had a 2003 Acura RSX type S, I used to spray my own wheels all the time!

is the intake on the intercooler same diameter as the stock?
The connections are the same but the intercooler is taller and thicker

Yes once I tuned it. It also helped with heat soak and keeping my temps down.

What bolts did you need to torque? And what torque specs did you end up using? I'm about to do this install tomorrow morning.

Intercooler resonator delete is the piece you capped off just in case you get flack for not knowing the name. Amazing video, I ordered mine in black as well so i
can do my stencils in purple to go with the theme and build. Keep up the grind. @projectpurple_xgen
I live in Chicago, i have a 2019 accord sport 1.5t. would a PRL intercooler help or would it be too much in the winter?
It’ll help year round. It’ll just be super cold in the winter
How did you find and fix your boost leak? I think my 2018 accord 2.0 might have one as well
I just bolt checked everything and broke a bolt 😂 then put everything to spec.
