Nice score for $60, a unit like that here in Canada would go for $400-600 minimum. Prices are crazy up here! I stick to wholesale item, clean and dust free. As a Amateur radio operator a lot of that amateur radio stuff you need to put on ebay. I been a amateur radio operator since the age of 19 I'm now 49 and my father has been a amateur radio operator for 47 years. I showed him your video and he said yes tell tuck to put all that on ebay. Also make sure you go thru all them books to see if any have to do with amateur radio. Also them floppy disks are used for the radios to program them. My dad programs the radios and also builds amateur radio repeaters.

Just a little tip always check books as there could be stuff tucked into them and furniture pull drawers out and check bottoms and backs on the inside people hide things or secret drawers etcc

Upon inquiring about it the land lord said they consider it garbage and it needs to be removed. So i ask if i can do it and they let me. Scored pretty big on stuff i needed that i didnt have. That locker was so big lol the technics stereo was one of the best when they where made make sure you sell it it for a good price also even the pencil sharpener lots of people want it as they like to refurbish things and put them on here ! You have some gold in there. Go through all the books. Some of those older manuals, flight books, ect. could be valuable. Dont discount paper, I've made a lot off a manuals & old sales brochures
That USAF uniform has First Lieutenant shoulder rank pins. The fact that he has fancy dress blues makes me think he was someone fairly important during his service. Not everyone has a flight jump suit, as well. Combine that with his interest in radio makes me lean toward him being involved with their intelligence operation...ie., communication and surveillance.
Tucker type writers are coming back because there are no more manufacturers anymore that produce them, there are actually type writer clubs and collecters, And the Shwinn totally vintage from the early 70s, nice score on the locker... the black boots are miltary paratrooper jump boots, 70s
I recognized your power supply before you even got it out of the locker. There's not a huge market for them but they are very expensive new. I got about $80 for mine on ebay a few years ago but it went cheap due to it's weight and shipping cost.
I think you've found some gems here, from the (sellable) books, (Carl Sagan an American astronomer/astrophysicist ) his uniforms, it's evident that this unit owner was/is someone who had/has an extremely high intellect, with an equally demanding profession. His hobbies also points to his intelligence, the amount of books/ topics as well as the backgammon game which is very strtegic in its movements ( has nothing to do with gambling) and is comparable to having checkers, chess, monopoly, scramble etc in the home that families engaged in. The Akai and Technics receivers are classics/vintage, speakers are sick! the schwin bike is in great condition and someone would gladly replace the tires and Wurlitzer (around since the mid fifties) makes electric pianos which is so vintage, can't wait to see the vinyls Tucker and Sammie. If he left all this behind what on earth did he take that was of more importance than some of these claims he left, it's a win. Peace and blessings. Namaste 🌻🦋

The electronics you found was well worth what you paid. The realistic am fm radio you showed is hard to find adapter that you add to a am car radio to make it play FM. I paid 20 bucks for the same one. Check out the value of the stuff even if you think is junk. I restore old tube radios and electronics. I had a buddy that found a tube radio that was worth 10k restored that he traded a older am fm tuner for. the Technics tuner looks to be late 70s to early 80s. That DBX box was really interesting but I didn't get a good look at it. If you find the right buyers you could easily make 10 times your investment on just the electronics. Nice finds.

Here in Pittsburgh we have a lot of unsold units, it's about the work and reward involved.. That's a lot of work probably for a little bit of money..
