Can this instrument reliably test STP cables or only UTP?

Hi there, I do connect my NVR to LCD/TV and set up the CCTV to mobiles/online/internet.
Please tell me if I buy one of those testers I can do the same set up without using LCD/TV?

Yes you can, you plug it directly to camera and provide POE. Then you login to camera from it provide subnet masking and IP range don't forget the default gateway.

I hace a IPC 5200 I can see a camera in the tester but I connect in the dvr I can't see. Can You help me? The camera isn't new. It was connect the dvr.

Hi,The tester can see the image, indicating that there is no problem with the camera. Please check if your DVR is compatible with the camera. Including whether the DVR supports the pixel of the camera, whether the DVR supports the camera type (TVI CVI ADH), whether the system of the camera and the DVR is the same (PAL or NTSC), etc. hope it helps you😀
