  • Patience. Persistence. Dedication.
What do we learn from a tiny yellow sunbird in Far North Queensland? That if you are consistent, you can achieve extraordinary things.
Finish whatever you start. Small steps. Be consistent.

I have been giving up several projects of mine half-way. Of course, ended up not accomplishing nothing. Thank you for the reminder, Mr Mathews. I will be like the sunbird from now onwards.

I recent purchased a secondhand Swarovski bird spotting scope. It has given me immense pleasure focusing, Mindfully, on nature - excellent eco therapy! Yesterday morning whilst walking our dog in West Sussex, England, I watched a barn owl hunting in a field next to the river - beautiful 💚👍

Nature always has a great way to inspire us. Thank you Andrew for noticing and share with us this wonderful story. It's a lovely message to remind myself of being patience, dedicate and finishing what I started to achieve my hardest accounting degree.

I have been watching a pair of swallows building at my back door. Twigs, hay, and the mud they produce, created a sturdy nest, and I found a second one inside my horse float. They have hatched eggs from each nest, and are currently rebuilding for the next batch. Talk about being determined and focussed on multiplying numbers for the benefit of their species! Now I watch them soar, catching insects on the wing, twittering in enjoyment of their happy lifestyle.Definitely something to be learned from nature in all its glory!!! Happy New Year!

They are indeed gorgeous. A few years back I had a sunbird build a nest in front of the garage. That took a month or two manoeuvring to make sure the car did not hit her nest....

That's a beautiful video, Andrew! Thanks a lot. It reminded me a bit of Robert Maurer's great Kaizen book(s) and his philosophy of starting right away with tiny, even miniscule, infinitesimal steps from right where you are right now. - Best wishes for health and happiness in a prospersous new year to you and your wife! - Albrecht Schnabel Munich.

It's my pleasure. Both are good. The kaizen book I like most by Maurer is his "One Small Step Can Change Your Life". - Regards. @@AndrewMatthewsAuthor
