Benji.. how i make the green beans.. 1. Blanched the beans for maybe 4 mins.. in boiling hot water with salt. 2. Dont dump the water.. you need 2 tablespoons of it.. drain the green beans 3. Get the wok, add oil enough to submerged the garlic. 4. Once you can smell the garlic oil. Put the green beans in, the 2 tablespoons of water, black pepper, and mushroom seasoning or chicken powder! And done!

For soup dumplings, aside from chili oil (opt.) it’s typically dipped in black vinegar and topped with thin, slivers of ginger. Some people also like to add some soy sauce but I personally don’t add it, because the soup in the dumpling is salty enough. The black vinegar and ginger slivers creates a great balance and cuts through the fattiness of the soup. Auntie Mel is correct about the dumplings steamed too closely and gently using chopsticks with a spoon in case the soup leaks. Some people line the bamboo steamer with Napa cabbage or a perforated silicone steamer liner.

There’s a nostalgia about having cable!! I have very few shows that I have watched over the years! But I miss flipping through channels and coming across one of my favorite friends episodes etc
Judy I also missed that cable feel like in my childhood. We have been using TH-cam tv and it’s great. It’s still cable (live channel) but easy to use on the tv because it’s an app. ❤❤

Judy, I still have the lip and eyeshadow palettes! Did you know that Safiya Nygaard used the eyeshadow palette in a video of hers? She mixed every TH-camrs eyeshadows and the palette makes an appearance!
I use the diva detergent! I only use it for linens and rugs. I use my regular detergent and then add a small amount of diva detergent as well for a subtle fragrance
Watching old 2015 vlogs feels so bittersweet bcos i never thought that 2.5 year old JB who ate the “heart chocolate”, would become such a beautiful big sister to 4 younger sisters.
We started re-watching cable a few years ago when my father in law gave us a tv antenna. We now end our days watching cable. Each night we watch a specific show and like the nostalgia of the commercials.

We use DirectTV’s streaming service on our Smart TV so we can get our local channels. That way we can watch The Today Show and programs like that. TH-camTV streaming also offers local channels. No need for a cable box 👍🏼
