Same! I got 3 areas decorated on my island up front and I love it so much! I put my house on a cliff at the entrance like in the last 3 day challenge and it makes me really happy because my island is clutter with trees,flowers,items,etc and I am putting a lot of the items that have been there for a while to good use.

campsites are really a huge 50/50 chance of getting a good villager. i got ken one time, stinky another, but then ken wanted to move out (he was my forced smug villlager 😭) but then the next day when Ken moved out, we had another campsite villager. and it was lolly! shes perfect for my beachcore island ❤️
you may could time travel to february and get some feathers from the karneval event. I think thats possible? Cute little feathers for the birdies living in the forest

Just a heads up,but any dropped items by the player count towards island rating. I think it's around 20 max (I don't remember because i never use dropped stuff for decor), any more than that and it dips the rating. That includes stuff like mushrooms you already picked up and dropped again (if you leave it where it spawned then it doesn't count)
Raven I have such a good idea for your island. For one of my villager islands I put the house on the third level and turned it into a tree house. It looks so cute and it fits your forest core vibe
