I loved seeing all the variety in your projects. I have the penguins on my list as well. Going back to your scrapbook video -- I appreciated seeing those books. No stitch finishing police! Those books were so creative and what a great way to have your stitching accessible. I was happy to hear you mention in this video that some of your starts would end up in scrapbooks as well. Do what makes you happy!

Wow! So many plans for new starts! I'm finding that I want to do some serious finishing and start fewer new pieces, but like you, I can be swayed... I watched your episode #195 -- the first one of yours I've watched, and it got me thinking about two full-coverage pieces that I've wanted to work on for some time. One I started decades ago and set aside a bit less than 1/2-way through. The other I've not yet started; it was a gift from a friend in 2019 (as I recall!) Dug them out and now have to think about the best way to fit them into my usual stitching. Hope you have a great 2024!
I have Talk to me Goose! I think I need to stitch that along with you. So, May it is! Your plans for next year have spurred me on to look at some of the older charts I've been collecting and make some choices for this next year. You are really a Champion Enabler, my friend!
Love your plans Laura, can’t wait to see your progress in 2024! I must confess to falling down the Quaker rabbit hole myself, I’m currently doing winter is coming mini Quaker by Stitches through the years and I have a spring & autumn one in my plans for next year…as well as Halloween & Xmas ornaments for the new tree I want to buy for my craft room! Happy stitching ❤❤
I would love to stitch the 🐧 penguins with you! My ship was in the Antarctic and we got to see some amazing little guys and the massive Emperor Penguins! Let's stitch this!!

Finally you showed your options for Fish & Ships - I was waiting for your idea as you the best when it comes to blue ! What is the non shiny fabric designer and what is color name? Luca S is a great company! They do not run their originals through program, they manually put it in, then clean chart from unnecessary confetti stitches, charts are designed with stitcher's in mind:). Hope you'll enjoy it.

What a fun video!! I've been working on some plans myself and enjoying the process; it's the first full year in a while that isn't overshadowed by other commitments like school. I have Invierno, and might be ready for a start-a-long by the time you're ready to start it! I love the colors in Satsuma pieces; I just need to get one started! 🪡👠

I really enjoyed seeing your plans and it helped me formulate mine…thank you! I would like to see your planner ideas…I have a book and put stickers in to cute it up…and have been writing what I’m doing, but think it needs more info in it..?? Last year I did finish the MFE Jane Austin Comfort and did what you mentioned with eliminating the letters below…it was stunning! I gifted it to my sister who loves Jane Austin. She put it in her front door hallway! 😊🎶 I’ll look forward to following you this year!!!💕
Loved seeing all your potential starts. I'm really thinking about the MFE penguins. I just finished my first MFE piece (the Holiday Countdown SAL), and while doing that I joined Jacob's MFE flosstube group and his youtube group. Such a wonderful guy! Just an FYI - if you take a look at his most recent FT (he had a video problem so the screen is mostly black so really an audio as opposed to a video) he talks about his plans for next year AND he provides a link to a really cute freebie in his store. Another vote for a Penguins SAL. I am close to being finished, but I'm not finished! How about an Earth SAL, starting in April, with stitchers working on their choice of design from Emma Congdon's book? I just had my book out trying to figure out which design I'd do for one of my daughters - didn't make a decision yet though. I also took two E.C. books to Staples, or any major copying center would work, and had it spiral bound. They just cut a thin sliver off the spine and made it spiral bound instead. I think in the 2 books, there might be one symbol that was affected by the hole. Cost was under $4 each. Much much easier to work from, or make a working copy from. I also like your Seasons of the Heart by Blue Flower. I have all 4, and haven't started any. You definitely have picked some great projects!
Sew much fun! I want to include at least one quirky quaker next year and think I will grab the bee for February. The Vivster flags are gorgeous...I am just not sure what I would do with the flag after when it isn't my husband's go to for decorating...I will keep thinking. I love so many that you have picked but I do want to finish within the year so I think I will see as each month comes up how many projects seem logical to add in. It will be a lot of fun watching you. Happy New year.
I think czook stitch is doing her dimension kits just with 2 strands for everything, so you could try it that way.
Love the Top Gun design. Oh the original Top Gun movie was released in May 1986. Love that movie. Okay, I like all your plans for 2024 also. I wish I could plan out like you do, but I tend to be a BAP stitcher and I have gotten overwhelmed in the past. 2024 is my "No Buy til 2025" year except things I need and new patterns. No more kitting up. Btw expect a package as promised next week! I am also going to start Fish n' Ships Using Sulky thread, (I can't wait to see how the floche looks on Fish n Ships), two more new ones TBD, plus Rosewood Manor Sal with you and Beth, and finally Spring, Summer and Autumn Quakers. The rest of my plans are to finish up WIPs -- Hoity Toity by LDS, Magwayen by Bella FIlipina, three Crocette A GoGo "In the City" designs and 2 Christmas design, and my oldest WIP -- one I started in 1989 of three retrievers, which is my top priority. Anyway, Have a wonderful New Year. And thank you for your videos! Please keep them coming,
