What works for me is being pass first starting out get at least an assist or 2 and take the wide open buckets when present. Usually after the first quarter i have the teams trust and if they hit their shots and get stops we win every time🤷🏽‍♂️. Recently feels like I have to be Jordan dropping 35-40 to win

Random rec needs better matchmaking. You should never be paired or compete against players not in your skill level. Just let the black/browns play on lower rec and silver,gold, purple play with each other on higher tier rec. This will help reduce the toxicity in this game. Imagine this, every time you queue in solo rec, you know your teammates are decent (or bad in low rec). Cherry picking will be reduced and "high tier" players that are just being carried won't be there with you unless they can really play. Tier should be based on the player performance and not if the team wins or loses.

Me personally, I can’t do solo, rec 2K, always match me up with brain, dead teammates with no iq but if you do decide to play solo rec again u better off playin on a low overall so you play against people with low overalls

That's just worse. I have 2 builds and I play random rec only. A 96 and 2 new 90/91. I win about 70% of the time with the 96 compared to like 50% on the 90/91, mostly because lower overalls actually hog the ball more.
