There is a yearly cap though for transferring points to Group A. So basically now that he got 30k Edge reward points for 100k spend. If he spends over 5 lacs a year he’ll reach the threshold of 1.5lakh transferable edge reward points. The card is useless after that cause the max value you can get from Group be is 7% per 100 spend. Additionally, you’ll have to maintain 30lac TRV with 🪓is for 6 months to get this card and continue to maintain it for eternity if you wish to have Magnus for Burgundy. You are better off using infinia and axis Olympus.
My suggestions:- 1. Instead of hdfc swiggy isnt airtel axis better card?? As it gives 10% return not just on zomato and swiggy but also on bigbasket and on the top of that 25% on airtel bill payment and 10% on utility bill payments. 2. Instead of sbi octane i feel rbl indian oil is better. Unless you have bharat gas cylinder subscription for your home. 3. Kiwi yes bank rupay credit card was completely missed in conversation, it gives upto 5% return on upi scan and pay but for sure it gives 2% flat, which is unheard of in upi scan and pay.
5:47 Pranay, useful video. Keep up the good work. I noticed you shown food oil image when Ayush said food & oil as his major spend. It should be petrol/diesel clipart instead. Hope this helps.
As much as I like your channel, I feel that this video could be a little more informative. Points that could be discussed are - - Swiggy HDFC's 5% cashback on online spends - BPCL Octane actually gives 6.25% rewards in terms of points and not 7.25% ( Not considering the 1% fuel surcharge since every other card gives that anyway) - BPCL Octane does not give out vouchers directly but reward points, 1 point is worth Rs0.25 when converting to fuel - Redemption process of BPCL is to either get fuel vouchers using reward points via SBI's portal or directly ask the BPCL fuel attendant to redeem points while refueling. - Axis Magnus Burgundy's criteria to apply and how to get. Still appreciate the video, thanks for uploading!
Yes offers slightly more cashback BUT Octane also offers Domestic Lounge visits at the airport (which can be of more value to some people) + since I have BP near my area so I prefer that. Rest is subjective depending on what is more accessible for you in your area.
@@harshoswal653 Hey Buddy! The first 2 cards are for personal spends. So like I mentioned, as per your expenses you can keep adding the next card, and further use for business spends.
Because due to this(Magnus Burgundi) card i stayed in 5 star hotels of Accor Hotels with my family and friends around the world for 55 nights free of cast with breakfast.
Great card provided you can get it. Will offer slightly better value than Amex in that particular case. But in the end it all depends on what is your end goal with the points accumulated.
I have magnus for burgundy since its inception ( after original magnus got devalued and got converted to M4B) and I don't use it because I've got no time to travel 😢😢just working and taking care of family. But just accumulating small aur India miles( ~ 5000 per month )
Yes! So when you go to the tax portal, you won’t find an Amex option directly (it shows only Visa, Rupay option). So the trick is to go to Canara Bank - then Pay using Amex.
Hey Buddy! If you are already holding the Biz Black then that’s great already. However, if you’re hitting your capping on that, then Amex can be used as back up for further tax payments in the household.
SBI BPCL Octane is a good suggestion for business expenses. Just curious if we can pay taxes using AMEX Platinum Travel Card? If yes, can we show it as a business expense??
Yes! You can pay taxes using the Amex Travel card. The way however, is that you pay using Canara Bank - and then further use Amex for the payment. (Amex option doesn’t show directly).
@@sivasrinadhu I don’t think it should be any different, since it’s all online. Try the way I did it via Canara Bank option - and then using Amex. Hope it works 👍🏼
For normal employee and retail investors normal family guy which card is beneficial without annual fee need lifetime card suggest me best card premium card with high limit and points
If you are reaching out to open public the research needs to be much better There are already better options in all card categories except Burgundyas have not explored yet However I can counter each of these cards for same use case Also only one specific use has been explored Like bpcl octane gives you same rate of rewards on bp gas it offers you 2.5% on groceries, dining etc. And many more points to counter
This is Ayush's strategy that works for him. If you have a better strategy, feel free to share :) Also if we start listing down every benefit of every card, this will become a painful watch
@@MayurMahindrakar007 Would love to know your strategy. However, mine works best if you have all 5 cards. Also, I use the card for its exact specific purpose only, like eg. why would I use BPCL for grocery? Why settle for just 2.5%, instead I will use my Atlas and get 2 miles/100 = 4 partner points = (if sent to Accor) = ₹7.2, which gives me a 7.2% return OR my Burgundy Magnus for almost everything and get even a higher return. Like I shared, it’s subjective and works best based on your own end goals.

Hey very informative video ! As Amex gives card on specific PIN codes only please let me know how to get burgundy credit card , I already have burgundy account with axis but they are asking for 30L FD for this card
I think it's not just FD. you can also open a demat account with them and invest in equity / mutual funds or whatever else if you prefer that. They basically want a relationship value to be able to offer this card
Magnus for burgundy comes at 30000 joining fee, without any benefit. That's the biggest hurdle. I have a burgundy account but didn't go for M4B just because of no joining benefit
There is a big loophole in Atlas ans probably other cards. Any Hotel which is registered as Rental will not be considered as expense and there is no way to know before making payment. Have faced this and expense was 70k which was not considered They even charged rent payment fees which they removed after I protested. However they still did not consider it as travel expense and did not credit travel edge points either. Even though they accepted that it was hotel and said entity is hotel. I even provided them for 2 nights booking invoice but to no avail

Atlas is not 5×, I believe it's 5 points per 100 for travel and not 10. Can you please check?
