That view point near Ribeira Brava, I'm pretty sure you can use it for BBQ, as long as you leave it clean afterwards it shouldn't be a problem. Minute 19.44 on the video, on the almost bottom right hand side of the picture, there's the old road, very narrow, imagine buses passing each other, mind blowing, this days the tunnel is the safest way to Curral das Freiras, you cannot access that old road, its blocked danger of landslides. Hi Michael and lauza it's another beautiful video that plantation with long sticks is beans runner up to stick and gives beautiful beans ,opposite that mountain they are more places to explore with beautiful views call miradouro do espigao and other places further and don't be scared talk to locals they very friendly ,that is madeira culture. Right across the valley from Miradouro do Sitio da Furna is Capela Miradouro Sagrada Familia. A man is building a chapel with walkways and shrines. Pretty amazing. Sunday’s are crowded. Another neat place is the Elvis and Ronaldo sanctuary on ER209. Azores are worth going to.
Love the thumbnail! Those growing @ 6:08 are beans, probably some variety of runner bean. Was also at Eira do Serrado viewpoint the other day, the views are just stunning. That barbecue place is in a place called "Furna" and it's for everyone, not just locals as all other public barbecue places around Madeira 🙂 Poço dos chefes is not fully natural, locals build a dam in summer and that creates the pool. Rest of the year it's just a water stream
