a lot of arguments for "no" I've seen boil down to people complaining that it doesnt have every feature copied from AV, and that just doesnt make any sense to me. if they DID add every AV feature, the same people would then just start saying "AA COPIED AV, LMAO!"
It's just unfortunate bc what AV has should be the standard. Everything that AV has added has been great in terns of QoL. AA comes back after a year and has basically added nothing new in terms of QoL and the standards have simply changed. The people saying "X copied X" are just stupid and don't understand that games copy other games all the time.
thats big cope considering aa fans do the same with av. "av copied aa's portals LOL" and stuff like that. aa IS a bad game with no changes in 1 year. only nostalgia is keeping the game with 120k players rn. I guarentee u if it was released, not re-released today, it would be clowned on. it legit looks like a 2020 roblox game
Ok, Let’s be real here, this entire rerelease was a Cash Grab. The Amount of content they added was legitimately 2 weeks worth of work. All other TDs have implemented important QoL items that AA hasn’t yet. Not to mention, The mode that they added gives at max 3 multis for 40 minutes worth of game time. AA needed to fix the Time:Reward Ratio because right now it is not worth it. When taking into account the sheer amount of P2W that they added and the intentional release right before Christmas, its clear the only goal of this update was to take as much money from the pent up hype as possible. On the Note of 2x speed - They should not add it, Instead, they need to make units spawn twice as fast and Buff rewards a lot.
U forgot they had to deal with legal issues, as Pery said this video. Am I disappointed they didn’t add too much qol? Yes, but we can expect it later on in other updates. The grind isn’t good? Yes, all they gotta do is buff rewards and the pace isn’t too bad for progressive content like story.
As a person who grinds the game legitly that means No = macro, robux spent, scamming, trading and no exploiting. it's safe to say Anime Adventure Doomed the F2P into unrewarding pit of hell that is both toxic and you also feel the feeling of being drowned by countless hours you've put into the game only to realize that doing things normally with limited time to spent on the game isn't enough to progress the game quickly. Not to mention that making friends on Anime Adventures is hard when everyone is focus on themselves. In conclusion = i have to say No, It's not worth the wait
I’d personally say yes and no, mainly because it seems as if they added in little things but didn’t fix any of the main problems with AA; that being the lack of rerolls and how slow progression can be.
@@WhyAisu I’m lvl 150 with multiple uniques, I’m Alr good, I’m saying for the majority of the community. You must really be slow if you couldn’t figure that out
ngl the model situation is somewhat understandable, but what’s not is the pure laziness. they just made some units a default fucking blue ghost? even some mythics, are we deadass? and not to mention the lack of basic qol like a unit manager that almost every td has now. seems like a MASSIVE cash grab.
id say yes, but it is very behind rn and it needs to catch up asap if it wants to compete in terms of quality. the reason why I like it more than the other td's is cuz of the sheer amnt of content atm, not due to quality or user friendly game design
These are huge points, and I feel like the devs and owner need to see this video. I love this game with all my heart. However, it definitely does need a quality of life update and needs to add an easier way for people to get trait rerolls (even if it’s little). I firmly believe that they wanted their game out because they know how much people loved AA. These devs will make the game better for us the players and they will change the game to more what the community wants. They are very open to what their players want and they will add stuff that we want. Sorry for the rant, but I will always love AA and the owner and the devs had to go through a tuff law suit and still dropped the game for us; they could’ve just took the bag and ran and not risk it again.
People are severely misusing cash grab, a cash grab is something like a rugpull crypto coin. Like hawk tuah coin, AA is more of a business than a cash grab. They obviously wouldn't work on the game if they weren't getting money. I don't care if people call it bad but atleast use cash grab correctly like anime realms
i mean the game has been pay2win since release, its just that people who has neve played the game has been overglazing it like its jesus in atd, but its just a game and it just wont meet those high expectations, especially people who dont know AA is p2w
For me it all boils down to the fact that the game hasn't gotten worse NOR better, it's just the same old AA, which doesn't bother me in the slightest, also, neither was i waiting for the whole year for AA to come back, in my mind it just never would, i had completely forgotten abt it and was just happy when it came back.
10:22 i would argue a big part of the "fun" of having a unique unit is the very fact that some people don't have it. if everyone has unique, then no one has unique kind of thing
GUYS if you look at all the meta units only a couple are actually changed, its also clear they aint gonna release new units with goofy non anime AD models. people complain that "oh my rare vegita looks like some random guy!1!1!!!!", and the meta/mythic/secret units that were changed arent even that bad(some) like metal knight, cid, and Ainz(he is so sick and im prob gonna go for him now). edit: ALSO something i forgot to add thats a double ege sword, btu in my opinion a great thing is that its harder to macro in AA. One of the reasons i stopped playing reborn and AV was the macroing and how lots of people macro, i macro'd in av and ad once and got the secrets but it felt so empty. You also cant say that you can macro in AA becaus eits harder, you dont get as much rewards. things they have done to avoid macroing is make random spawns and for the new event the map is randomly generated. macroing will get you some gems and event currency but not alot and youll never be able to get the secret units either.
I disagree with what you said on just one thing, 2x speed MUST be added, especially in infinite mode. Spending 40 minutes and only getting a maximum of 250 gems is very little in terms of time spent. Regarding other things, I'm neutral, whether they add it or not, I'm satisfied.
@ginutzz you can't seem to use your brain to function so let me break it down for you They should increase the internal base speed of the game similar to vanguards to make stages go by 2x faster not add a button for 2x speed
i think a large portion is mix of what AA and AV have done. AA had their models changed, but still have the longer grind. AV has better quality and is a lot more time management friendly. AV definitely overhyped the update slightly, but AV is still the better use of time compared to AA atp.
@ but it's still less painful to grind out the game compared to AA. i've never macro'd personally and have the best inventory of my friend group that plays
they should make tournement rewards give rerolls instead of fragments. Getting 10-40 rrs each week (or less if they lower it) would be still fine and will allow players to earn and actually play and participate in tournaments in order to get rrs. With tournaments rotating between traitless and traits p2w players will most likely get more rrs than f2p during weeks of traits enabled but when traits are disabled its even game. So I feel that this would be a good addition/change to tournaments which will increase f2p rerolls.
aa is gonna suffer like astd did if they dont add the qol stuff current td games do and it will be sad if it goes in that road aa has to catch up with the new td games in qol wise
No it wasnt little to no changes, Little/No QOL changes, Not new player friendly and No F2P alternative, And this is coming from who played AA for LB, Tournaments, and top INF castle. All these new ATD games really brought new QOL stuff and more F2P alternatives for players. Also added tid bit some content is locked behind having to play with other people. (some content is almost impossible to solo)
did you really expect a big change in the span of one month? they spent the whole year solving the legal issues, the only time they had to add things was the month span we had from their first announcement to the release
The problem is that they cant just make it f2p out of nowhere. Imagine how all the p2w players would feel after all their money is wasted because unique is more or less ''grindable''
@handyspieler8101 ww dont want unique to be grindable, but im a level 150 player with no uniques and like 2 divines, 1 golden and thats it, the game needs more rerolls and thats for sure
@@poke_dex6593 they literally didn't spend a year kid. the legal issue was literally resolved within 24 hours. they literally said so themselves the day it happened. they removed the mha units done legal problem solved. they also made a announcement calming they did indeed work on the game for the entire year to bring it up to current td standards an announcement they have now deleted.
i think it is but my main concern that i think they should change is these events, like the winter event, even if you get 4.6k stars every run (which take 40 mins!), getting aizen is unbelievable. i understand having a unit be rare which i like but the event runs can just be so boring and prolonged and feels like there isn’t enough progress being made because you can only get 4.6k every run if your team is insane. it take 72 days of grinding straight to get aizen (doing basic math give or take). they need to find a new way to do these events because my love for this game alone makes me not wanna play any other td but 72 days is ridiculous (that’s if you’re grinding 24 hours a day).
Are u forgetting how long ur average unit evo is? Even though they made it easier that’s still gonna be difficult for a new player Point being they don’t care how long it takes to do things, they want u in their game for as long as possible
right now aa give more rr than av. its simple math thing. u can get from 2 to 10 rr from daily challenge. and that alr better than av. av have event that give good number of rr but they dont really have any infinity of rr farm other than paragon but as some point it become to hard to get. aa have tournament as av have daily challenge the present event. that alr a good amount of rr
+ trading is a thing. getting a secret unit from event or portal/raid is easy. there is some rare secret like the capsule one but the other are easy and can go for some rr or bp. without counting shiny secret going for alot of rr
OG aa player since release with 6 accounts all on 200+lvl, I basically quit aa. The rerelease did not clique to me cause I’m really burnt out with every atd games. AA will innovate their game you just have to wait I hope for the longevity of this game and all existing atd games. Also for the OGs and new players stop comparing every atd games just enjoy all of them.
Not gonna sugarcoat it, but if you spend money on a game and complain about exclusivity after things suddenly become easier to obtain, that's completely on you for making the choice to drop money
I just want them to make the game faster, doesn't matter how, just do it. If they can reduce the time neccessary to clear an event stage from 40 to 20 minutes I would consider that a W
i agree actually i think their was a tic tok that showed the devs working on the game 5 days before ther annoucement also one funny thing is i had one of the av devs lash out on me for saying that
Honestly man I played aa from the time it was up till the time it died, with it coming back I feel it's just dated and we have games doing the exact same things but better with much less greed involved or just overall are more fair like anime last stand, I was talking with a friend about this and I told him if aa returns exactly as is with no changes I think it's gonna fall off faster than people think, when aa came out it was niche they could get away with a lot more but nowadays that same motto just isn't gonna work.
Buddy, anime last stand is just a easy game made for the owner to get more money, the whole point of AA its to be a harder game, literally most of the gems and currency i got on anime last stand was from codes and i can say that when i did stop playing his i had most of the meta units besides the ones from stage drops
anime last stand is so heavily based on traits its insane. if you don't have trait in that game your fucked but then again you could gts with a macro and wake up to 400 rerolls
@@bennnnnnnnnnnn sorry to break it to you but if you ever thought aa was a "hard game" you've gotta be a child lol it's an anime tower defense LMAO be fr
Ngl i'm happy that the OG players could get their units back and the progress they made, even tho i'm also a newgen and barely got like 5 mythics (lost Gear 4 Luffy). AA has to take note from other TD games, because it felt very basic and lacks what made other players get into, for example, AWTD, AV, AR, etc. People got too comfortable playing with lots of QoL that Anime Adventures feels too slow for F2P old and new players
As a returning player, I would say NO it was not worth the wait. I was level 223 over there but the game is so outdated compared to todays TD games, just feels like a cheap copy. Sure, they weren't developing the game for a whole year, but atleast they should've added the QOL stuff that most of the other TD games have by now. + the models, I know they had to change it but that is the main reason why I play anime TD games instead of skibidi toilet TD games, so it's another no from me. Overall, I think imma just stick with Anime Vanguards even tho the update schedule is really messed up, hopefully they work on fixing that
the my hero units arent gone, certain old units can be turned into gems and rerolls, stain got a whole remodel but is fine, shigaraki can be turned into gems/rerolls but you could also keep using him (he got no model)
9:50 i disagree with you at this point since you can littraly get more than 44 traits reroll trough battlepass (you can trade for it you dont need to buy it) and now daily chalenges can give you up to 50 star remmnants which is pretty good and level milstone gives you hella rerolls too
Daily challenges is everyone cant do, espiecally when your new, you would need unique to solo it or a team that wont leech/competent enough to help you. Its also only like 2-10 rerolls if ur not rolling on speed/bulma Level milestones is only like 50, thats still good, but level milestones is only a temp solution And people overprice the battlepass like WILD,
the level milestone is capped, the daily challenge is a little difficult for the average player and not everyone have good trade units, since people overprice the bp
@@GWw2-jq2dx Bro Bp is NOT overpriced i got it for dazai for my friend and got it myself for posiedon and 2-10 rerolls is so good btw av you can get 2 rerolls a day daily challenge is so easy i dont have uniques and i clear it easily what you talking about
"Uhm actually there is a capped rewards system that took 15 hour to complete that gives 44 rerolls. And there is also a gamemode that gives you a minimum of 2 rolls that near to nobody can solo. Its very good. Oh also, you can trade for a battlepass that people valued 20x over its actual value. I'd say its pretty good" Even if someone in theory could leech of off someone for daily challenge. Who in their right mind would just allow sometome sit there do nothing while they do all the work sweatin their ahh? Maybe if they had double unique vegito or dio OH yeah. But anyone below level 50 is NOT doing daily challenges. Let alone solo it lmao And let me make it clear yeah. If on average you got 3 rolls from daily challenge a day, to came even close to getting reaper. Statistically you still need over 2 MONTHS lmao
They got the Anime Defenders effect where half the untis are not even close to the actual charcters. I got albedo off the banner today and it took me 30 minutes of searching the wiki to confirm it was actually her
As a lvl 300+ player: No it wasnt. I played it for 3 hours and couldnt stand the slow paste of the game. The game speed is just outdated and im not playing 90 minutes for a wave 50 infinite run
Personally no because I was always a fan of ASTD over AA and this would be my fourth anime tower defense game that I'd have to grind in and I don't have the patience for it.
10:30 I would argue that aa with this rerelease has done rerolls pretty well with things like daily challenges and level milestones. Obviously unique is much rarer then monarchs or overlords but thats what makes it so special when you finally get one. We see so many youtubers with full teams of uniques and sss stats that we think its essential to get but i think for most content in this game it isnt a must like in als. As long as you got maybe a few people and decent stats you can do nearly anything. (also i dont have a unique)
I think AA should give you 1 reroll from every inf castle/mansion room, because it's technically infinite, gives you a lot of Rerolls, and Gems, and makes the players play the game for hours more.
@ Then you can only get 50 per room and only til room 100 is defeats the purpose on the “infinite” rerolls, and no one who can’t do hard mode will do normal mode because it doesn’t give rerolls.
I say yes because one of the developers hinted towards a possible quality of life update pretty soon it doesn’t matter even if your opinion of this game is bad. It’s always going to be number one because it was the first and the best without question.
Anyway they are already preparing an update. And I think the thing that will do the difference with other games is the updates quality and fast release
the more i play the more i realize how fun it is. unique is supposed to be unique and make your game easier im not saying u need uniq the beat the game you can beat it without it u can use like godspeed, sniper or just sup 3 nimble 3 and range 3 u can beat the game without trait 2
I think aa is being massively overhated rn I mean yes it doesnt have all of the Qol features from more recent games like av which i also wish they would implement I fully understand that but Why immediately hate over that i mean give them some breathing room they just got out of a long lawsuit and finally have some room to breathe and actually work on the game Imo the game doesnt need much change Besides some Qol things like i said You dont need op traits in this game and the grind is Long yes but it was always like that its literally aa as it was and has been So i see no reason to hate it and say its overrated or its just nostaliga i've played all the recent td games and no game could replicate the fun i have In aa no matter how much i have to grind I would say for everyone to actually think about why they hate the game and try to Help The devs Thru suggestions and not thru pure hate W vid and thanks for reading this also excuse my poor grammar have a wonderfull day
imo they likely finished the legal battles not too long before they made the announcement and have been working on it since. (i doubt theyd continue working on the game while the lawsuit is ongoing cause then all that work could easily be for nothing)
I dont know if its just a skill issue but it feels like i cant keep up with others in aa, it feels like i cant get new units when they come out and i cant keep up with the meta, it just feels like i have no clue what im doing even though ive played the game for a long time
i gotta say i had proof of me owning unique gojo with everything yet hes not in my account anymore and they said not to giving him back to me made me really sad and mad at thr same time because he was my first and only
What everyone should be thinking is that the developers need time to add something unique that a lot of tds games doesn't have. Let the developers use their time wisely, this game still has a lot of potential.
Btw for the rerolls part they increasd the amount of rr you get from daily challenge 10-50 of them though i do think it is way harder than it should be, the only other way to easily get them is level rewards
It’s actually around like 2-10 rr which for f2p people if they gather an ok team of people they can farm it and it can be a pretty good way of farming and with the level rewards as another way of people getting f2p gems and rr aa has gotten a lot better and I’m quite happy about it :)
I think adding easier trait rerolls would significantly hurt the game's balance and depth. Here's why: Unique Traits Become Commonplace: Easier rerolls would make "Unique" traits far less special. Right now, they're valuable because they're hard to get. Making them easier to obtain would diminish their impact and make every stage feel easier. Reduced Strategic Thinking: The current system encourages careful planning and consideration of trait combinations. Easy rerolls would remove this layer of strategy. Players would simply reroll until they get the "best" traits, negating the need to think creatively about their builds. Teamwork Diminishes: Unique traits often require coordination with teammates. For example, a "Support" build might rely on a teammate with a specific trait. Easier rerolls would make these team-based synergies less important, as players could simply reroll to be self-sufficient. While I understand the desire for more control over your build, easier rerolls would ultimately harm the game's long-term appeal. The current system, while frustrating at times, encourages thoughtful unit building and rewards teamwork. Disclaimer: This is just one perspective, and there are valid arguments on both sides of this issue.
Fax giving more rrs completely nukes uniques value which then leads to them having to balance the game modes for unique and making it too difficult for those who can’t get a unique
I think that Anime adventure was worth the wait if they worked on the game for some months, but now an entire year? Absolutely not. Before anyone decides to attack me,i'm an Anime adventures fan and i'm level 153 rn,let me share my Opinion: They changed several models, models that weren't even from MHA and the main appeal of Anime tower defense games is the fact that you can get your favorite anime characters, let me put it this way; would you be more excited to get Makima,Gilgamesh or Gojo in comparison with "Carlos Juan"? The closer the Units look like with their anime the Better,i understand that they will remodel the units but they didn't had to change other Units too! even my Denji looks like an whole different character. I think that they should give more Level rewards, you literally get the same rewards for 100 Levels and it doesn’t make any sense, who would be happy to get to level 100 to get 250 gems and 2 trait rrs? I don't think that getting rrs will ruin the game but they should at least be a bit more generous, giving rrs to Daily or infinite quests would be nice since you would spend time in game to get something that can help you,i even decided to check Infinite castle and if you get to level 100 you get like >>>3 TRAIT REROLLS
I’m personally upset because of some data loss (I lost some evolved units that I grinded my butt off for), and the gameplay is just so slow. I think absolutely they will go through with making the game way better in future QOL updates, but so far its just kinda meh
2 things lets remember legal issues played a factor in how long they updated the game. They also did add new ways to get trait rerolls with the reworked daily challenge that gives 10-50 star rements and level rewards ( not infinite but still solid) give the game time if ur new you may get used to it but u dont ahve too its still fun Glad its finnaly back
For me, For the moment there will be various opinions but for the long term if the game does not abuse with the copyright friendly models and that the devs only changes the models of the secondary units of the next updates and that they add quality of life features the game will be top 1 of the td games without negative opinions and it will regain its glory of the past
I agree with you on almost everything I just disagree with not needing 2x speed because back then I used to sit through the whole grinding parts of AA for hours on end and its left me with lower back pain to where I can't sit more than 1hr or so without discomfort and for me personally after playing anime defenders which has much better QoL imo I think its almost need to give us 2x.
Short answer: No. Long answer: It just doesn't feel... Good anymore. I couldn't care less what features they take from other games, I never wanted AA to copy things. But with how bloated the ATD genre is nowadays and how many things/features people take for granted as just being a staple, AA just feels... Outdated. It feels like they could've just cut out this entire year of waiting, released this as just a normal update, and it wouldn't feel any different. Like it took a year just to copy and paste Halloween event and rework a few models and delete others. AA feels stale and a reminder of how much people fool themselves into thinking a rare unit collection simulator was actually a fun experience for the average player.
Well. Thats because the "average player" doesnt talk or interact with the community AT ALL. The majority of people who constantly interact and keep up with the community always has meta units. High levels and are "good" at the game (good as in have a good units. Most are still barely functional and just follows guide to play a game, they dont have any sense of strategical gameplay whatsoever its infuriating) Thats why even though the community is massive. The average player doesnt even go past halfway through the game content, because of how slow progression is and how unnecessarily difficult the progression stage is. IMO its just not something you can play and just chill. Its somerhing you commit your time on. Meanwhile games like AV or AR. You can play like a dumbass and just play.... well to play. You just spend you time. You dont optimize anything and you can still go to the end game and "enjoy" what the end game felt like And its crystal clear because everytime you join a lobby. there is always someone who cant even evolve their units because for gods sake it takes too long and it also difficult because even with decent units. Its barely beatable
@@MrVal05 AA doesn't offer much more than AV or AR in my eyes, though. It offers about as much depth as a paper plate, and the only reason it feels any different is because that grind is so unnecessarily and boringly long. AA was so slow and tedious that you kinda *had* to just chill when you played it if you had any semblance of an actual team. Either that, or you ended up in matchmaking with a whale who actually had the unique units you needed for some of the hardest content.
@@netherresonant5594maybe if you had a team yes. but as someone who games alone. As someone who doesnt have friends who actually play any tower defense game. Each difficult stage felt like hell. I just came back to the game with my evolved pucchi and TRIED evolving vegeta. The raids not only felt long. But its so unnecessarily hard. You can chill yes. But unlike other games. The chances of enemies leaking are high if you dont have the best and most versatile units within the game. Mostly flying enemies are the problem. I think the main difficulty of the game is just the flying units. A good majority of the mythics can handle enemies well. But alot of them doesnt became hybrid until very late so you have to micro your hill units well alongside your economy so you can survive whilst also being able to max out your strongest unit. I have been suffering from thus issues since black clover legend stages were first introduced. Like, why does me not having somebody to play with became a punishment? I cant enjoy their game alone? Maybe i exaggerate it. But its so infuriating because AA used to be THAT chill game that i can hop on and dont have to sweat my ahh off.
and im not saying i cannot beat the raids. I definitely can. But the length of what i had to do for a TENTH of the materials i need is so unnessecary. It felt unrewarding. Its even more unrewarding then the banner gachas in early ASTD days where there are no pity😂
@@MrVal05 Matchmaking was a nice QoL thing for people to be able to play solo. But it also became mandatory for people to actually complete certain levels of content like the buu raid unless they either spent way too much money on the game or had the most ungodly luck in the world with the abhorrent rates F2Ps got.
you guys are forgetting the huge point here. this game was stuck in time for a whole year while a bunch of clones popped up and had all that time to innovate. aa was dealing with legal issues the whole time and they were pretty straight up about it, hence the remodels and renames. this game fundamentally is still so fun and i would even go as far as saying it started the era of clones of all kinds on roblox. the whole time they didnt have legal issues they were updating constantly so if you think they wont add new and fun features to compete in today’s scene youre gonna be surprised
Honestly, the upcoming of other tower defenses really caused me to no longer have the love for AA that I used to have. They feel polished to the point where I simply can’t enjoy AA in the way that I used to.
i honestly couldn’t care less if it was worth it or not, i’m sure for the future updates to come the game will improve and i’m currently enjoying grinding the game compared to the other tower defence games i’ve dabbled in since the deletion of AA. I think people are both over glazing and over hating, the game is just a fun game at face value and that’s honestly all i care about and what most people should care about.
I think it’s the peoples fault for having such high standards now that they overhyped it and then when it does release it doesn’t match their expectations and say it’s bad so I blame the people. the game is good
Imo AA is DECENTLY playable atm its still addicting but it needs some major QoL changes like match speed up and just more rerolls distributed over the game modes. Also mythic pity is a MUST have since I have been saving up for Gremmy since the update began and I just REALLYY want Gremmy or any new mythic to add to my collection and idk what else to yap abt.
Unfortunately if i remember correctly (I havent checked the update log) the pity only worked on the old banner and the banner witb multiple mythics had no pity@kingnaruto4life422
@pixxel_firemy guy, this argument ONLY applies to some other td game, not AA cuz if u really played it you'll know that even if u have the meta of all meta unit, some game modes just arent beatable without a trait. One that can be named is when they released the halloween hunt i remember people complaining on it and AA did the "find match" thing after
Yall are just some idiots, before the game got taken down i know most of yall were playing the game all day, and now when the game comes back 1 WHOLE YEAR later with a update that was to be released 1 YEAR AGO yall are just saying that the game is bad and overhyped... they did not work this entire year on the game. Also the game did not get just taken down like shinobi life, it was a whole law suit against them a good way to know that is that the old devs from the game got their roles back as devs and now they are working on the game.a
Also the jetstream sam skin just shows that the update is outdated as rn the meme from mgr:r is real dead and there would be no point of them to make a skin about it a whole year later from when it was popular...
Like I said in the last video, The Devs said they would do a way better job remodeling the units. They just rushed to get the update out to us which he states in the video. Everyone saying it was a cash grab is just straight up stupid. WE THE COMMUNITY RUSHED THEM BY DEMANDING IT COME OUT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Nobody has even appreciated how all the new units look almost exactly the same as the actual anime characters. QOL I can admit the QOL was a bit lackluster but TBH AA was iconic for actually having to look at your unit and upgrade it. Not clicking unit manager and pressing upgrade. I just wish they had things implemented like skip summon and simple things like that. Overall, the community was a bit ungrateful which is the best way I can put it. They gave us the game we were all asking for. And people don't understand how legal troubles work due to 90% of the player base being kids and not understanding it. They had to change the models in order to release, they even said in announcements they would be changing the remodels as updates came out to make them look more realistic. Rerolls and Uniques I agree with Pery in all his sentiments in the video, Unique should be easier to get just to make the player base more f2p friendly maybe like 10-15 every 12 hours.
I always glaze AA, but seriously it needs to start properly listening to it's community, but I don't see why it needs to again because no game is competing with it. AV is literally getting 10x less players than AA, and they both updated on the same day!
I just HATE the fact that AA said, "we know that standards have change and they will make aa reach those standards" just for them to do no QoL changes. VANGUARDS is the standards that most ATDs gave used, so why make a promise that you cant keep
The game is objectively a worse game than something like anime vanguards but I don't think people who have invested alot of time would move to a better game since sunk cost fallacy another example is growtopia and pixel worlds
a lot of arguments for "no" I've seen boil down to people complaining that it doesnt have every feature copied from AV, and that just doesnt make any sense to me. if they DID add every AV feature, the same people would then just start saying "AA COPIED AV, LMAO!"
This is a good point I forgot to include in the video
It's just unfortunate bc what AV has should be the standard. Everything that AV has added has been great in terns of QoL. AA comes back after a year and has basically added nothing new in terms of QoL and the standards have simply changed. The people saying "X copied X" are just stupid and don't understand that games copy other games all the time.
@@pinkdrink6535they might add in the next update since they had lots of things
thats big cope considering aa fans do the same with av. "av copied aa's portals LOL" and stuff like that. aa IS a bad game with no changes in 1 year. only nostalgia is keeping the game with 120k players rn. I guarentee u if it was released, not re-released today, it would be clowned on. it legit looks like a 2020 roblox game
@ AV is ASS CHEEKS
The game was only worked on for a month bro😭😭. They 100% had the money in mind
And changing a lot to avoid copyright isn’t an overnight thing that’s for sure
the rates for progressive modes like the winter event used to be much worse bro. its a blessing to be able to get 3 multis from 1 run
@@kelmys2349 ignorant mentality but lowkey the traits suck
As a person who grinds the game legitly that means
No = macro, robux spent, scamming, trading and no exploiting.
it's safe to say Anime Adventure Doomed the F2P into unrewarding pit of hell that is both toxic and you also feel the feeling of being drowned by countless hours you've put into the game only to realize that doing things normally with limited time to spent on the game isn't enough to progress the game quickly.
Not to mention that making friends on Anime Adventures is hard when everyone is focus on themselves.
In conclusion = i have to say No, It's not worth the wait
They legit had a entire year and did not add A SINGLE NEW QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGE they didn't even make it more f2p
I’d personally say yes and no, mainly because it seems as if they added in little things but didn’t fix any of the main problems with AA; that being the lack of rerolls and how slow progression can be.

id say yes, but it is very behind rn and it needs to catch up asap if it wants to compete in terms of quality. the reason why I like it more than the other td's is cuz of the sheer amnt of content atm, not due to quality or user friendly game design
awtd has even more content and at least they're f2p
You need to macro QUIT ALOT in awtd for the f2p stuff. Dont get me wrong i love awtd
the AA devs had to fight legal battles to try and reupload the game

2x speed should not be added respectfully it ruins animations
What should happen is they increase how fast waves progress
@@jon261944 screw animations, 1 raid taking around 10 minutes and having to do like 20 raids is not fun

Love your honesty Pery, Handling your game after getting taken down for copyright is not easy. Thank you for rhe shout out about that
i think a large portion is mix of what AA and AV have done. AA had their models changed, but still have the longer grind. AV has better quality and is a lot more time management friendly. AV definitely overhyped the update slightly, but AV is still the better use of time compared to AA atp.
the problem with av is that literally everything is macroable to the point where it’s more time efficient to macro than actual playing the game
I dont think its overhyped but defenetly not beginner friendly😅
aa is gonna suffer like astd did if they dont add the qol stuff current td games do and it will be sad if it goes in that road aa has to catch up with the new td games in qol wise

did you really expect a big change in the span of one month? they spent the whole year solving the legal issues, the only time they had to add things was the month span we had from their first announcement to the release

i think it is but my main concern that i think they should change is these events, like the winter event, even if you get 4.6k stars every run (which take 40 mins!), getting aizen is unbelievable. i understand having a unit be rare which i like but the event runs can just be so boring and prolonged and feels like there isn’t enough progress being made because you can only get 4.6k every run if your team is insane. it take 72 days of grinding straight to get aizen (doing basic math give or take). they need to find a new way to do these events because my love for this game alone makes me not wanna play any other td but 72 days is ridiculous (that’s if you’re grinding 24 hours a day).

Overall, I think imma just stick with Anime Vanguards even tho the update schedule is really messed up, hopefully they work on fixing that
the my hero units arent gone, certain old units can be turned into gems and rerolls, stain got a whole remodel but is fine, shigaraki can be turned into gems/rerolls but you could also keep using him (he got no model)

i disagree with you at this point since you can littraly get more than 44 traits reroll trough battlepass (you can trade for it you dont need to buy it) and now daily chalenges can give you up to 50 star remmnants which is pretty good
and level milstone gives you hella rerolls too
Daily challenges is everyone cant do, espiecally when your new, you would need unique to solo it or a team that wont leech/competent enough to help you.

Level milestones is only like 50, thats still good, but level milestones is only a temp solution

they should make game play faster or add 3x speed bc raid takes like 12 min bro.
12 minutes are nothing compared to the stain raid (30 minutes btw)
@ NAH WHAT that’s crazy brah

Pery prepare the questions for the AV stage cause you finna go talk you are the best in that
I think adding easier trait rerolls would significantly hurt the game's balance and depth. Here's why:
Unique Traits Become Commonplace: Easier rerolls would make "Unique" traits far less special.
My goat yapper back it again
i cant even do daily , watch the ogs come here and clown on me for being a newgen when even they need uniques to do daily
I think that Anime adventure was worth the wait if they worked on the game for some months, but now an entire year? Absolutely not.
Before anyone decides to attack me,i'm an Anime adventures fan and i'm level 153 rn,let me share my Opinion:
They changed several models, models that weren't even from MHA and the main appeal of Anime tower defense games is the fact that you can get your favorite anime characters, let me put it this way; would you be more excited to get Makima,Gilgamesh or Gojo in comparison with "Carlos Juan"?
Bruh the game isn’t on console 😭
I’m personally upset because of some data loss (I lost some evolved units that I grinded my butt off for), and the gameplay is just so slow. I think absolutely they will go through with making the game way better in future QOL updates, but so far its just kinda meh
2 things lets remember legal issues played a factor in how long they updated the game. They also did add new ways to get trait rerolls with the reworked daily challenge that gives 10-50 star rements and level rewards ( not infinite but still solid) give the game time if ur new you may get used to it but u dont ahve too its still fun Glad its finnaly back

the only thing aa has over av really is content if av came first then everybody would say av is better
Star remnant also increase compared to previous AA
If we don’t have a unit manager next update we are wasting time
Short answer: No.
Most are still barely functional and just follows guide to play a game, they dont have any sense of strategical gameplay whatsoever its infuriating)
Thats why even though the community is massive.
You dont optimize anything and you can still go to the end game and "enjoy" what the end game felt like
And its crystal clear because everytime you join a lobby. there is always someone who cant even evolve their units because for gods sake it takes too long and it also difficult because even with decent units.
But it also became mandatory for people to actually complete certain levels of content like the buu raid unless they either spent way too much money on the game or had the most ungodly luck in the world with the abhorrent rates F2Ps got.
you guys are forgetting the huge point here. this game was stuck in time for a whole year while a bunch of clones popped up and had all that time to innovate. aa was dealing with legal issues the whole time and they were pretty straight up about it, hence the remodels and renames. this game fundamentally is still so fun and i would even go as far as saying it started the era of clones of all kinds on roblox. the whole time they didnt have legal issues they were updating constantly so if you think they wont add new and fun features to compete in today’s scene youre gonna be surprised
they need to catch up
Honestly, the upcoming of other tower defenses really caused me to no longer have the love for AA that I used to have. They feel polished to the point where I simply can’t enjoy AA in the way that I used to.
Then don’t play
@@ripperi0s727 That’s what I’m doing lol
bacially you were used to be treated like shit and then you realized you could do better.
Tbh I think it’s not a gold game from graphics to gameplay to trait system it has a cool few features but it’s not up to par
tbh, all i want to see is my little blue hair vergil girl
i honestly couldn’t care less if it was worth it or not, i’m sure for the future updates to come the game will improve and i’m currently enjoying grinding the game compared to the other tower defence games i’ve dabbled in since the deletion of AA. I think people are both over glazing and over hating, the game is just a fun game at face value and that’s honestly all i care about and what most people should care about.
I think it’s the peoples fault for having such high standards now that they overhyped it and then when it does release it doesn’t match their expectations and say it’s bad so I blame the people. the game is good
I'm not even going to watch the video, I'll all say is yes and I'm gone.
Imo yes, I'm just gald the game is back
Imo AA is DECENTLY playable atm its still addicting but it needs some major QoL changes like match speed up and just more rerolls distributed over the game modes. Also mythic pity is a MUST have since I have been saving up for Gremmy since the update began and I just REALLYY want Gremmy or any new mythic to add to my collection and idk what else to yap abt.
It has mythic pity. It just doesn’t show. It’s 16k with vip and 20k without
Unfortunately if i remember correctly (I havent checked the update log) the pity only worked on the old banner and the banner witb multiple mythics had no pity@kingnaruto4life422
Doesn’t need rerols. Why everyone want that when you DONT need op traits ?!?
theres a pity just doesn't show
@pixxel_firemy guy, this argument ONLY applies to some other td game, not AA cuz if u really played it you'll know that even if u have the meta of all meta unit, some game modes just arent beatable without a trait. One that can be named is when they released the halloween hunt i remember people complaining on it and AA did the "find match" thing after
Yes. I missed this Unmacroable game, I missed actually playing a Tower Defense game and not AFK it.
people have been macroing this game since 2021 lad 😭
@Zencriel idk I started playing on the summer upd and got Roger
My only problem is the memory loss i lost my best units
6:42 yk what else is massive
you still said the magic word pal
Simple answer: no, anime tower defense games have been dying and it’s always repetitive. This game will die in a few months.
are we being dumb on purpose 😇
@@whatthekoko nah they need to compete
FACTSS finally someone smart
It’s almost like the quality standards of what is acceptable has changed in the last year!
True Like the Update is outdated in everything
back then aa had only 1 competition astd now it has multiple people know what a good td game is
Like I said in the last video, The Devs said they would do a way better job remodeling the units.
QOL
I can admit the QOL was a bit lackluster but TBH AA was iconic for actually having to look at your unit and upgrade it.
Rerolls and Uniques
I agree with Pery in all his sentiments in the video, Unique should be easier to get just to make the player base more f2p friendly maybe like 10-15 every 12 hours.
they only took like a month to update
@@Chronor I know
I forgot that even before they got dmced the devs never cared for f2p players cashgrap ahh devs
Wait for meta unit on banner is mad hard ngl
I always glaze AA, but seriously it needs to start properly listening to it's community, but I don't see why it needs to again because no game is competing with it. AV is literally getting 10x less players than AA, and they both updated on the same day!
thats because aa released. on release, vanguard peajed 400k players and u could also say it had no competitors
@@Leonhartzbotted
@@volxx3647On release it didn't have any bots they came later and it peaked release on 280k players
@@volxx3647"ON RELEASE". It took less than an hour to reach 300k. Come one. You cant be hating on something THAT much right?
bro you can get 10 rr on a mythical or secret units with the daily challange
I just HATE the fact that AA said, "we know that standards have change and they will make aa reach those standards" just for them to do no QoL changes. VANGUARDS is the standards that most ATDs gave used, so why make a promise that you cant keep
The game is objectively a worse game than something like anime vanguards but I don't think people who have invested alot of time would move to a better game since sunk cost fallacy another example is growtopia and pixel worlds
nah poeple spent a year on something else they will move on
My unit disappear when I wanted to transfer stats and it didn't work. It's that normal???
Yes, I believe there's a chance for it to not work (if I remember correctly) also transfering stats always consumes the unit
