As a Kansas City Chiefs fan I have to give all due credit to the Bills. They played well but didn't get the result they wanted obviously, but this game could easily have gone either way. That missed field goal at the end was a killer. But both McDermott and Josh were total gentlemen in these post game interviews and that's hard to do when you lose a game like this. Kudos for coming back from the dead to finish the season strong. You guys have so much talent and heart. See you next year.

Otherwise, McD went for a 4th and medium with time on the clock, and he had basically no one to play LB. I was on the fire McD train mid season because of his late game meltdowns, but he stopped those at some point. Even in this game, Mahomes got stopped, then a miracle penalty, then got stopped again immediately.
This loss just ain't on McD. Almost wish it was so I'd have someone to blame.

The Bills had 2 minutes, it was second and 9, the Chiefs two timeouts. The Bills played for a fist down, it was a first down and then four running plays to get into the endzone and win. Were the calls two passes into the end zone? Even if you had scored the TD, would you have given the ball back to Mahomes with 1 and a half minutes?? What were those calls? These are the things that make us doubt the credibility of the game.

Like u said there was still 2 minutes even if we scored the chiefs have to ball back. The coaching on the bills side was horrific during this game

Wasted five prime years of Josh Allen. The Bills won’t win a Super Bowl championship with Sean McDermott. This HC Mcdermott chokes and chokes hard. Blown 16-0 lead in Houston, blownout at home vs the Bengals, blown 13 seconds in Kansas City to now being 0-3 vs Andy Reid. This year he blew so many games. The Bills could’ve been the #1 seed had his defenses closed out Jacksonville, New England with Mac Jones and then the game in Philadelphia. Then of course the 12 men on the field vs Denver. Enough of these absurb and ridiculous heartbreaking losses. Bill Belichick is out there and he’d take this job and get the Bills over the hump.

I understand where you're coming from, but this game should have never been as close as it was. No one could of kept this game as close as Sean McDermott did given all of the injuries on defense. Buffalo gets rid of Sean McDermott and they'll finish 8-9 or worse for the next 25 years. I do however believe that Buffalo will never win a SB. Not in my lifetime anyway.
Considering how many injuries this team has had throughout the season it’s actually a surprise they went this far. Not saying they’re horrible but that’s a lot of adversity to face when so many players keep going down from week to week.

They are both trash. Bass is one of the most protected players on the team, and McDermott never has him kick anything high pressure.
Bass is also one of the highest paid kickers in the league, who struggles to kick anything longer than 50
This loss hurts. McDermott did an outstanding job calling the defense pretty much all year, but the injuries caught up to us at the end. As for the kicker, I complained after the Philly game about him. You could see it coming. In 2023-2024 pro football, you have to be able to kick FG's that are under 50 yards on a consistent basis. CASE CLOSED!!!!💯KC's kicker had to kick in the same conditions. Same in the Philly game. Bass missed two against Pittsburgh, keeping them in the game. We need a new kicker💯

Sean has done great things for Buffalo but it's time to move off him. Can't run it back when you get eliminated by the same team 3/4 years. Injuries were a huge factor yes, but enough is enough. Sean has had 3 years of prime Allen and still finds ways to lose big games time and time again. I fully believe as long as Sean is coaching KC will be a mental block for this team.

It was second and 9. On the 26 yard line. The Chiefs had 2 timeouts. You had 3 plays to get the first down. We were going to be at the 17 yard line with 1:30 to play and the Chiefs having run out the clocks.He would have 4 chances to enter the endzone eating up the rest of the clock. They ignore the first down and throw into the endzone on the remaining two downs. Completing the pass or not would stop the clock. In other words, we would return the ball to Mahomes with almost 2 minutes and 2 timeouts regardless of the outcome of the play. In this configuration we would lose anyway. The game was one first down away from winning, never a score away. It was obvious that the objective would not be to score at that moment. The clear, crystal clear target was the first down. The game was in hand. Gain. We had 3 runs to gain 9 yards. And then 4 plays to get into the endzone eating up the rest of the clock. Throwing it into the end zone at that moment twice is playing to lose, it's giving the opponent a chance to win that they no longer had. It is inexplicably playing against your own advantage.
If our coach called a fake punt from his own 30 yard line with 10 minutes left to play and a 3 point difference on the scoreboard because HE CONSIDERED RETURNING THE BALL TO MAHOMES AS SYNONYMOUS WITH GETTING A TD, as plays later with the chance to kill the clock the decision is to throw in the endzone and return the ball to the same Mahomes with 2 minutes and 2 timeouts to call?

How can he say Diggs had a good postseason? He had 10 catches on 17 targets for 73 yards in 2 games. That's not a good postseason stat line for someone who is suppose to be the #1 for the Bills. I know KC typically keeps him in check, but come on. The playoffs are when the stars play their best and he hasn't done that since 2020. He's part of a long list of issues with this team. Hopefully, they make the tough choices that will lead to better results.

McDermott has done a wonderful job as a head coach in my mind. It's not the coaching to blame but, the execution of the plays which falls on the players! Defense this year with all the injuries has played lights out football. Adjustments have to be made on offense and special teams! The play of the offense and play call selection was very predictable during this game. At the end of the day! I am happy to be a Bills fan.

Blitz Blitz Blitz! He left a guy way over top instead of blitzing. Mahomes is going to score but you don't have to make it easy for him.
Blitzing mahomes is almost always a bad idea bc he creates extra time to find open receivers. He's a mediocre coach but that decision was correct.

I like the coach we just need time. one good example is Danver Nuggets of NBA, they rebuilt the team 2016, draft Joker and Murray, then 7 yrs later they got the rings. Go Bills Mafia, we just need time and patience
Didn't do anything defensively, forget not doing enough. You didn't do literally anything lol. You were allowing 10 yards per play. Every time the offense would leave the field after taking the lead, the defense would immediately give up a score in 4 minutes or less. They'd get into the redzone in 3 or 4 plays. You can't win like that. Forget about winning against Mahomes. You can't win against ANYONE like that. That is by far the worst defensive performance I've seen from this unit. Josh did everything he could.
This is it man. Something has to change within this organization. I don't dislike McDermott personally, but I think this team needs change across the board. They had the blueprint to beat the Chiefs tonight. Run the ball and limit time of possession for Mahomes. All they needed was for this defense to get ONE stop when they had the lead. Just one. And they couldn't do it, instead were giving up chunk plays left and right. What a disaster. I'd be very annoyed if this front office didn't even make an attempt to look into getting Bill Belichick.
BB is 71 and far removed from his golden years with Brady, I get why he's an attractive replacement but I don't know that it's necessarily the right answer at this stage of his career.

McDermott had a long run. One of the longest tenured coaches in the league now. Got to build the roster how he wanted. They can't get over the hump. If they don't move on now it's a mistake. I respect him and I think he's a good coach but it's time

We need a few players like Chris Jones. Couldn't stop him all night. Our QB pressure was almost non-existant. When we did get pressure Mahomes made mistakes.
