Ok... I have finally finished my second part to the adventure to the Isle of May! I am sorry it took so long but here it is
On the trip I took with me my Fujifilm X-H2s and X-H2, the Fujinon 150-600mm and the Fujinon 16-55mm. I hope you enjoy!

What a beautiful adventure! One aspect of photography I love is all the adventures I go on using photography as a reason :-)
It really is what makes the whole experience amazing and then looking back at your pictures afterwards it makes it all more memorable 🙂

Thank you, glad you find it calming - it’s how I feel when I am out with nature. Yes I got some lucky moments on the island for sure, I miss that place already. I will hopefully bring the next one out in a week or so 😄 thanks again! 🙂✌🏻

Superb crystal clear photos and videos Victoria. Going to put Isle of May on my must do in Scotland list as it looks beautiful. Loved the pictures of the birds that look like a photo and then they suddenly move and it’s a video😳😂. Would recommend a visit to the isle of Staffa if you haven’t been there before as the puffins there are beautiful and you can have a sing in Fingals Cave which I did and cleared it out all of the tourists. 👍😂😂

Wow. I've watch many of the beautiful places you visit and was wondering if you ever tried astrophotography on these amazing places you visit. I can only imagine how amazing some of the places would look like with the Milkyway on them or Star Trails, light pantting ect... But please if you do, do it safely or with a companion if possible. I would help but you are far from the US. lol. But seriously, keep up the beautiful work you do. You have a lot of admirers here of your work!!!🤗

Thank you! I have to say, swapping between medium format and crop sensor, i have missed my crop sensor a lot and thoroughly enjoy shooting with it 🙂
I use the 150-600 together with the 1.4x teleconverter. The results are fantastic. So sharp even at 600mm. This is a beautiful lens.
I havent tried it yet with the teleconverter but this is great to know! And so glad you love it as well, it is a wonderful lens!
what camera did you use this on ?

Very nice video doing an activity I love in a beautiful location. Something I would personally appreciate to see is your exposure settings. Since you display your kit the settings could help someone like me to determine whether a piece of kit ( like the 2K Fuji lens ) is worth a look and it's capabilities.

Lovely video! I mostly shoot urban, documentary, and street photography, but watching this makes me want to pick up that 150-600 mm and photograph birds myself 😆

Beautiful images as usual. Do you use the autofocus or override with manual? Fuji still lacking behind the competition in that department
Well I don’t think so because the AF worked great with these shots. I think most of them were AF, just have to adjust your settings to suit the environment/subject 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoriainspiring. I have the same lens and need to go shoot some wildlife this week. Haven’t even creeped out my apartment female community recently with the lens shooting squirrels….

Thank you! And you know what.. i haven’t updated in aaaaages.. like months now way before the last 2 update. I just keep forgetting but my gear is working well.. maybe it is about time I updated 😅
@@wildandfreevictoria nah dont update, keep the version you got because many videos about 7.0 issues so dont take the risk. It's good realize dont need update as yet wait until the new ones comes out to correct the issue. I'm saving get xh2s to do wildlife filmmaking.

What film simulation are you using to edit your photos? ty
I shoot in RAW and either use standard film simulation or Reala ace 🙂
£60.... very reasonable.
Yes I think so, well worth it! There are cheaper boats from Anstruthers in Fife but I go from Dunbar 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoria cheers...... May now located on Google Maps. I was trying to photo Eskdale Green looking out to The Isle of Man last week..... not much of a success. The age old complication of light and dark..... cameras don't cope well with the exposure.
