People who have this dtv are reporting on forums they have already arrived and left and come back and get stamped back in for another 180 days

Often times, it's less about the number of entries but the total amount of time spent in the country, like the DTV hasn't even been around for 180 days yet.

Why Thai Immigration is silent about the DTV is obvious, they don't like it..
People holding and renewing their NoN 0 extensions are a good income stream for Immigration. Especially if those people use an agent to 'assist' with obtaining an extension.

Do the foreign ministry and the immigration talk to each other?

Thai Revenue Department are taxing anyone staying in excess of 180 days including those on DTVs.

I think maybe you are bagging the DTV a little too much. It’s perfect for me, I come to Thailand often, I don’t want to work here and I don’t see how immigration can make it too difficult for me. Maybe they will try to catch me mowing the lawn. When I come here I spend a lot of money, so I only see it as a win-win situation. An absolutely brilliant idea in my opinion.

I learn a lot from you and love your passion! If you don’t mind me saying so I think calling other people idiots is not needed, you are passionate and I like that! I’m watching this closely as I’m a cyber security consultant in the USA and I want to stay here six months and USA six months and be able to still consult my clients in the USA. I will continue to listen to you before I do anything. Possibly hire you just to take care of it for me.

Where does the Alien Employment Act state not impinge Thailand? I thought there was no split, or has it been changed?

Thailand is no longer the best deal around. Tax wise other places are better at top rate of 35%.
In Thailand. I pay 15% capital gains in Greece and can even work in Greece. Cost of living is also cheaper in Greece now.
