Subaru is the embodiment of *"When you want to avoid getting a speeding ticket but the officer pulled an Exodia"* 🤣🤣 Subaru's *"Nani?"* reminds me of Kiryu's, she's truly the straight man xD
Me and my friend came up with a game mode where we play as complex decks as possible, and whenever gold button shows up you HAVE to click yes. Its so funny watching the randomness unfold as we have to do things like pop a negate to negate ourself or discard for cost when we have the last combo piece in hand. We call it the "Yes" game
0:50 yeah that is one of the big good things about MD. I have never had matchmaking take longer than 15-20 secs. Probably helps that it doesnt have to be that strict in terms of rank
Thank you for translating, it's the only way for me to consume content of jp members, esp shuba shuba which has been on my radar recently. Also I find it funny that I immediately recognized the "raigeki" spell card, but when I read the katakana, it says "thunderbolt", that means that the English version text is trying to stay true to the Japanese while the Japanese is actually translated to English
A loads of old cards in OCG are actually having normal English names, for some reason localize team decided to unnecessary changed it to Japanese (some accurate, some weird). I always loathe this kind of localization, isn't the point of localization to translate them to be more suitable oversea, why do the opposite? It's just the change for the sake of changing, not respecting the source, and some of those created future problems (Frog the Jam, Archfiend). Most offensive to me is Slifer, you changed the name of the actual Egyptian god for a normal dude working in the company?? Good thing that kind of localization doesn't really happen that much nowadays, still some changes but mostly acceptable. I'm not talking about censorship tho, idk why they still keep doing it it should be dropped at this age.
This was a trend in a lot of early yugioh cards. Cyclops became Hitotsu-Me (one eyed) Giant and Fireball became Hinotama. Even entire archetypes have had this happen. Every “Ritua” card was localised as “Gishki” (lit. Ritual) and “Jinzoningen - Saiko Shokka” (lit. Artificial Human - Psycho Shocker) and every card that reference’s it became “Jinzo”.
@@MilenAnessar they keep doing it because Konami doesn’t care to change and the people responsible for all the most offensive localizations still work there. The needs of the TCG are secondary since they know westerners will still buy despite being given an abjectly inferior product to the OCG. @@thedigitaldummy3098 Avram's flavor text was a disgrace sure but man I love the name Fur Hire and what they did with the card text. It made the archetype (which is lackluster) more memorable.

that's because that's exactly what the english release is called. it's just simply named "Thunderbolt" but they gave it the japanese name "Raigeki" for it to sound cooler
A lot of older Yugioh cards had English-sounding names originally and when the game was translated to English they changed them to Japanese so there's this cool back-and-forth now.
Dragonmaid is relatively easy deck to play + they can be slotted in with a lot of generic dragon supports Also, if you're interested in Waifu decks, check Centur-ion(Yuri Gurren Lagann), White Woods(what if Adam and Eve is Eve and Eve), and Labyrinth(what if Dio's Mansion is managed by a big booba girlfailure)
Im not a current MD or YGO player but I do know some of the basic rules of YGO. In regards to Dark Burning Magic since it was set on field and has the quick play icon, could Subaru have acitvated that spell when the dragon that special summoned to def position to destroy it, securing the otk?
She's in a frickin platinum rank (if I'm not wrong) and still don't know what that card does??? An archetpye that she like so much??? Typical YGO player 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Old Yugioh vs Nowadays Yugioh really different, at that time you can just use powerful monster (blue eyes, dark magician, etc), fusion, and monster/trap card with destroying effect, nowadays you must know bucks of chain reaction, link card, pendulum, etc, so now it just seems how much longer and better your chain reaction so you have better chance to win 😂
Im playing dragon maid on the theme chronicle event, with the new dark end evaporation dragon and the starscource dragon and duality, is such a neat deck.
I don't usually watch their master duel streams. Do they ever pick a deck and actual players just say "ew"? Like I wonder if a Holomem was ever halfway bullied out of playing Tempai or Yubel.
Master duel is not made for casual players but for those who play the physical format of yugioh in competitive hopefully in the future konami will release a more accessible game
Thank you for giving us the card text, makes it easier to understand what's happening (Though being a MD player I wonder how many did actually read the card effect) 🤔🤔
I don't. Like I know their effects, but that's just from activate those cards for multiple games. It helps that a lot of cards in an archetypes has 1 or 2 common effects and often follow a specific gimmick.
