Good morning guys. That job reminds me of something my Dad used to say, “If you don’t have time to do something right, you better have time to do it over.” Great job! God bless y’all!

Mike, you once talked about, on an older video about the difference between being an operator and an excavator. This project looks like a good example. Having Jerry on the job gives you an extra excavator. He really is a no wasted movement operator and really shows his grasp of the whole excavation picture. Could you comment on his contributions to your growth as an excavator. I have watched the channel for some time now and know a bit of your respect for Jerry.

As a young man I became a tractor trailer driver more or less by accident and circumstance.
I was quickly educated about the difference between a driver and a "wheel holder". Fortunately I was able to obtain driver status in short time and earned the respect of the pros. It's pretty much the same in any profession. Fake it until you can make it and hope you don't screw up in the process.
I'm pretty sure Jerry doesn't even remember the days before he obtained "pro" status. He's a treasure!

28:20 Oh....that....? That's just DP drifting a 40,000 lb 850J....as you'd expect :). Great vid as always. Amazing work. Those things have so much traction forward/reverse but like skis on a sidehill! Also the skill and 'psychic' connection DP and Jerry have is great.... 38:50 'The Nod' just another confirmation of the professionalism and that you two are on the same page. Not sure why but I find the sound of the tracks 'relaxing'.

Aaron's camera filming is just top notch. That whole sequence starting at 31:58 by showing DP's dozer blade pushing in closeup to then switching over to Jerry coming in from the left and then zooming back to the overview of both dozers in action is just superb camera work. Thanks man, this is what makes watching these videos fun to watch!

Once again, you show the quality of your work. You take the time to survey your Jobsite, even if it's just walking around, to see what's happening with the land. You all joke about it but it's obvious you take pride in giving your clients value. And I appreciate you talking through your steps for us, your viewers. Some of us (me) are not nor have been heavy equipment operators. I have common sense but I don't know or appreciate the finer details until you mention them, such as the width of the ditch at the bottom to get the depth you need for the tile and then how wide at the top for safety reasons. Thanks, Mike.

Mike, I really enjoyed watching the '850 Square Dance' under the professional tutelage of the one and only MBTS. Thank you for taking us along to see exactly what amount of preparation is needed to ensure that when you tile drain that patch it will have gravity pulling the water away and MBTS will be able to retrieve his tape measure. without having to swim for it, (where you DP would only wet the sole of your boot, MBTS would be treading water.) lol Stay safe and keep well and thank you.

Well, this is a nice little episode to watch while I'm eating my late lunch.
It's amazing how much dirt the two 850's can push in a day.
Especially if Gerry shows up to assist a little bit.
I'm guessing you're going to be pushing mud from that mini pond out and down where you cut out so grass will grow on top of the clay.
I'll just have to wait for part two of this job.
