I was not aware of him playing with The Stone Crows? But, yes he IMO opinion is a great guitarist, and a HUGE loss to The Eagles. The Eagles problem was they let 2 members run the show, the others had to follow those 2 or they were out. What a shame!!

I was 17 when the animation “Heavy Metal” originally hit the theaters in 1981. I saw it not long after Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” came out.
Don Felder was the Eagles’ guitarist who created the track “Hotel California” on the opening 12-string acoustic, and part of the song’s lead guitar after the lyrics conclude.
I wish Blue Oyster Cult’s 1983 track “Shooting Shark”, the 7-minute album long version, could have been a part of “Heavy Metal”. 😂🇺🇸🎸

@@Geerladenlad Yes, this is being questioned as we speak. YT never answered when I asked about it the first time. But, when I googled it , it said that in order for it to count as a view, the viewer must be viewing for atleast 30 seconds. Something is going on and I have contacted them again concerning this matter and hopefully they will answer back soon.
@@RockinReactionRollers Sometimes the algorithm can be responsible for things. I'm surprised that you didn't get an AI response.
@@RockinReactionRollersfrom what I understand the algorithm can kick in messing with the view count because it thinks that bots are viewing your channel.
Been a minute since I've heard this one. I think the movie is a little overrated.
Hate to tell you this Tammy but you are being gamed on the amount of views. I won't go into how, for obvious reasons but there is a way to run up views on TH-cam. Do with this info what you wish.

Don Felder is a great guitarist. I urge everyone to read his book Heaven And Hell about his time in that awful country band he used to play in. For anyone whos seen the movie The Big Lebowski, The Dudes opinion on the band is exactly how I feel about them.
I'm almost finished with a biography about Steve Marriott titled "All Too Beautiful", I just checked and there is a Kindle version of "Heaven and Hell" so that one will be next. Thanks for the suggestion UC!

The Eagles were always one of my favorite bands growing up, but did not know of all the problems they had back in the day. IMO Don Felder made this band famous. I need to read the book, but I did see a documentary on DF awhile back, and I feel like DF fought back against the drama, but really I think there were 2 in the band who caused the problems and that's a shame for as good of a band as they were to have these kinds of probs with each other, they should have embraced their fame as a group IMO
@RockinReactionRollers Yeah, the book lays it out pretty good. Just like Joe Walsh lost me as a fan by joining the Eagles, I became a big Felder fan after they canned him. Nothing will make me change the radio dial quicker than the Eagles. Well.. maybe Elton John, lol.
