Merry Christmas to all! I have 2017 SS and live North of Pittsburgh. Driving around were I live, being easy on the car my mpg range is 26 to 28. On a trip to Delaware were my daughter lives, my mpg will be anywhere from 29 to 34. The only thing I have done is CAI. I know I am not the fastest car on the road but when I need or use the power the car has I am excited. I love the camaro! I like the fuel economy. I dont do any racing, just enjoy what I got. Keep up the great videos!

I'm a recent subscriber and and I like the fact that you're in NY. I rarely see videos from my hometown... usually videos are from Texas, Cali, and other places that don't have NY winters. I'm a Vet and I Love my Country, it's just good to see videos from the northeast. All of this to ask a question: Do you guys still have summer tires on your wheels, and if so, do they ever get a chance to warm up in city traffic? I live in DC now and I usually only drive my Camaro when it's above 45 degrees or so. Even then I'll have to get out on 95 for a bit before my tires get to normal temps. When those summer tires are cold it's almost like driving on ice! When I had my 2014 SS I would put my all season wheels and tires on in the winter just in case I wanted to step out there. I got this zl1 in Sept and winter is here already. I think that I'll just drive on warmer days until Spring. I know I'm rambling on and on but no one my house will talk to me about cars and my Camaro addiction!!! :-)

Thanks for showing love to the channel. To be honest I drive so little that the car barely gets a chance to warm up itself let alone the tires. Summer tires I keep on the car because it does me just fine and I barely have a commute. When I had the smaller wheels that weren't as wide I put all season continentals on because that's my favorite tire and it works great. Yeah, I daily my 2017 SS and I’m a 6 speed manual, I usually get 15-18MPG city/highway combine, and I can last 4-6 days on a full tank, usually 250 miles on a full tank. I don’t think a cam is on my bucket list😂 but I wish my car can make that chop sound

i got my wheels from phastek performance they are the MRR Z28 Replica wheels. I wanted them when I had a 5th gen as well.

I wonder what the MPG's are for an AFM compatible cam or less aggressive smooth idle cam. I daily drive my Camaro too, and I've looked at the Lengenfelter AFM cam, or the Janetty smooth idle cam (afm needs to be deleted) but it's not an aggressive cam.
I wonder about those cams in general. I wouldnt use it personally

Honestly I fill every 2 weeks. I only drive 4 miles a day.

No sir. That's running 93 since the winter hit. I havent filled with e85 for a few months now.
I have a mustang gt cammed and it dropped my MPG pretty bad. But I also had a pretty aggressive tune put on and that also probably dropped it Alittle.

Just picked it up numbers are 729 HP 642 TRQ with a D1 Procharger and AMP custom boost cam 38% increase in fuel Lobe .... Need bigger tires ASAP lol

Is the mpg bad for installing the long tube headers and a tune?
It decreases but nothing insane.
Getting a stage 2 cam and long tube headers on my 2004 silverado 5.3. Picking it up in a few days. Im a little scared now lol

@@mrhighway Nothing noticeable. Use the truck almost as daily driver and it’s pretty good on mpg’s for being a 5.3. I try to keep it in good shape. Plugs , wires , filters etc.
my 2011 SS i got 26 mpg at stock, after cam best i got is 16 lol. but you don't buy a performance car and get shitty tires either.

No. There are pure NA cams that are made for non boost builds.

Billie Bright All my driving is more highway than city driving. And I do 5 below the speed limit. I don’t drive it hard unless someone pulls up next to me. I have a cdl so I don’t do too much crazy driving
@@billiebright1634 it's only 21 mpg average. Stock you should get more than that city and up to 31 highway EPA rating.

If I ever could get my hands on a M1A1 that gets about 0.3mpg I wouldn't complain a bit. That being said why buy a car with a v8. V10, v12, ect and concern yourself with fuel mileage? I never understood that. There are plenty of options if you're wanting fuel milage.

Monday afternoon I was coming home from the doctor why is going to stop and finish up some Christmas shopping I had the Ram pick up but I have all the work done to the stage 2 jet chip computer programmer air intake throttle body throttle body spacer Gibson exhaust and really have not been getting on the truck for the last few years because it's getting older and today I was supposed to go look at 2020s Ram trucks but my truck had a different plan I heard what sounded like a train horn in the distance and the truck vibrated and came to a halt yes I'm blew the rear end this will be number 3 rear ends I've blown up in that truck definitely not a good Christmas Eve but I just wanted to wish you and your family and friends a Merry Christmas I hope Santa brings you everything you want and I hope Santa brings you have family and friends everything they want thanks for all the nice comments keep up the great videos have a good and safe night God bless
