- This tutorial will show you how to crochet a pretty lace scarf which can be made in any size. This scarf is suitable for beginners.
For my scarf I used a 5mm crochet hook and Drops Paris yarn (worsted weight).

Thank you for watching x
So wonderful to have someone who goes slow enough to follow. Excellent video coverage. Thank you, it's beautiful!
i’ve always loved lace and was very excited to see this video, i love how you take time to show exactly where to insert the crochet hook because sometimes just words don’t make sense in my brain. thank you so much💗
Again, l so enjoy your tutorials so thx so much for this one as well
I usually do not do well with any type of shell pattern, but this was explained soo well it came very easy. My scarf turned out beautiful and I have had many people complimenting me on my work. Thank you for taking your time with this tutorial and your camera work was wonderful and I could see everything.
Just found this in 2019... I followed your instructions, but I actually made mine wide enough to make a very nice shawl! Thank you!!
Thank you for this lace scarf pattern, I finished my scarf today it looks fantastic, your explanation was good to follow, I made a drawing of the pattern, that helped me a lot.
I cannot WAIT to make this and your voice is for some reason really soothing to me.
I have made two so far and people LOVE them!
You are very good at providing instructions that are easy to follow. Thank you
Time and time again I come back to this beautiful stitch. I am currently making a poncho out of some fuzzy soft coral yarn in this gorgeous stitch! It’s easy and so pretty!
Thank you. Did it along with you using the pause button so I could catch up. Found it quite easy and I'm halfway to making a scarf.
Tks so much! I am doing this and I love it. Simple and cute. I am doing this for my 6 yrs old grandaughter. She is going to love it. Thanks for explaining with such a calm and clear way and the camera is close enough so I can see what you are doing.
I had to rewind a few times as well, but I finally got it. I am getting compliments on my work.
I have just started crocheting and I struggle with counting. I love making scarves and giving them to the people I love, but them being just simple, bulky double crochet scarves (no counting) was a little disappointing to me when I see so many pretty scarves out there. This tutorial was so easy for me, since I have been double crocheting anyway!! Plus you make the counting seem so simple I think with enough practice I can start to remember this pattern. I have already done 4 rows and it looks so nice! I can’t wait to have a finished scarf and surprise my great grandma this Christmas!! Thank you!! I can’t wait to browse your channel and see what else is as easy to follow as this! 💕
Thank you for the beautiful pattern. I found it easier to do a three double crochet, chain one, three double crochet instead of seven double crochets for the shell. This made it easier to do the next row. Please let me know your thoughts about altering the pattern.
You are a great teacher! I love this scarf- it will be my go-to pattern for this winter.
You're a really good teacher
Thank you, you're a very good instructor.

Thank you so much! Very easy instructions. I caught on so quick. I'm making my scarf with a burgundy color. It's coming out pretty. After this I will make a blanket. Love your voice too.
I so enjoy your tutorials...your voice is very soothing and you explain your work very nicely. Thank you!
This is a beautiful scarf! I had some three ply yarn and it turned out great! Thank you!
Great easy to follow instructions for this beautiful scarf. I used a thinner yarn and it came out really nice. Thank you.
You have a wonderful speaking voice. This is the first of your vidoes that I have used. Though it is a bit slow for me it is worth the wait to have a pleasant voice. Thanks. I'll be looking for more of your tutorial.
Great video, I just finished my first scarf ever for my good friends girlfriend, it came out very nice, super helpful!
i just subscribed...thank you for being slow and thorough on your instructions. I found it very easy to follow and my scarf is coming along beautifully!
Thank you so much for you beautiful work in making this one for my daughter .stay safe and bless you
To be honest I find most people explain the slip knot way harder than it actually is.
Cloroxx Bleach thank you!!!!! You’re just making a knot that’s not pulled all the way through
True. I originally learned how to make the slip knot from an 18 year-old girl’s crochet channel; she broke everything right down and I’ve used her example of a slip knot ever since.
Thank you, this is a lovely easy pattern. I am making it in caron cake yarn and it looks fab.
Love the pattern in fact I'm thinking about using this pattern to make a spread as a wedding gift for my cousin's big day!
Very easy, nice, I have not finish yet but no problems. Thank you.
I love this pattern and you are the best instructor.
Never mind. watched again and wrote down, easy patter really. I am not a visual learer. Wish written derections would be included in all tutorials. Thank you very much for this pattern. I am working with mohair and size 5.5 hook.
Some creators show you how to work their stitch patterns but may sell the written in the drop down description box. I have yet to check this. Teaching you how is free. Giving away their patterns isn't what makes them any money and why should they? Just not the way business works. Not hard to understand or accept.
You really explain things so well ,youre my favourite .i follow your patterns with ease . Thankyou keep up the good work x
I already did one simple scarf it came out so good n i gift that for my sister...this looks so good I wanna make it but I don't no I could make...stil am just a beginner....
Lakshmi loknath oh practice that what I did and it helped
Jin Ate All The Suga Kookies Yeah am working on it...
@@sowbhagyalokanath1567 Sounds like you're familiar with basic stitches. You will conquer any pattern you like. Just do a sample and keep pausing until you're ready then using your chosen yarn begin and still use her video for as many rows needed until you can go on alone. Before you know it you can examine another artists creation and recreate it by memory. Trust in yourself. Believe me and don't give up and you'll make beautiful pieces. You'll see. 😊
I love your work. I wish you could start making adult clothing such as shawls, ponchos and hats. You are a great teacher and speak very clear and slow.

Thank you for the amazing tutorial , I just started knitting and Crocheting as a hobby. I only tore this down fifty times until it looked somewhat like yours LOL . I was wondering if a yarn question is ok even if its not related to this video. Is there a way i could attach a picture to show you ?

Beautiful lace scarf.

I had a lot of fun with this tutorial. You have such an adorable voice. My only question is how do I make the bottom of the scarf where we started, to look like the fans/shells that we ended with? It would be nice to have both ends of the scarf matching. Suggestions, please? Thanks.

I want the end to be the same as the beginning row so that I can add fringe to the bottoms. How would I do this?
Work a row of double crochet at the end to straighten it out x
