loved your reaction, please continue reacting to The Lady Pin this will be a long journey there will be 16 episodes and 1 ep per week, so we will have it until November, 4 months of The Loyal Pin. This was indeed based on a novel The Loyal Pin (Pin Phak) there were 2 books, 1st book basically from childhood until they had to be separated since Anin have to study in England. And 2nd book is when Anin finally graduates and went back home, 2nd book has the drama. So this will be a long roller coaster ride, and can't wait for each episode to unfold, when they finally realize the feelings they have for each other. Though we can already see here that they do have feelings it's just they are still too young to actually put a label on what they feel towards each other. Though Princess Anin, is already flirting and always wanting Lady Pin attention. While Lady Pin she treasures everything about Anin, and since as you said she's very by the book, comply with strict traditions, thinking about Anin in a romantic way seems too far etched on her mind. Though she do tend to get shy when Princess Anin flat out flirts with her. Maybe, this is puppy love or something like a crush but you don't want to admit it.

Anil's grandfather and pin's great grandfather are distant cousins.
Padmika is pin's real aunt. Pin's father, piya was her real brother. But she was adopted by anil's grandma and was brought up with anil's father like siblings.
Anil's grandma adopted padmika cause she had no daughter and padmika adopted pin cause her brother (piya) wasn't alive.
Anil and pin are distant relatives by blood but the blood is very thin, they have aunt( anil) and niece(pin) relationship but also cousins cause of padmika being adopted made her king's sister, not niece. If she wasn't adopted her relationship with anil wouldn't be of a aunt but of a cousin.
This is a little complicated at first but after understanding, you will get used to it ❤
