I agree with you 💯… Around the year 2000’s you hardly saw a Nigerian African store like today…all the stores were Ghanaian owned and that was where all the movies were sold…you could not stream movies 🎥 then so you have to go to African store and buy them. But you know what they do best when it comes to Ghanaians, Nigerians will always try to look down on them.
Ghanaians have been in the diaspora way before Nigeria 🇳🇬 became a country ,Ghana introduced Africa culture into the diaspora community .Nigerians are most of follow back
Building my house in Accra and CANT WAIT to leave US permanently in the next 5yrs. First time in US was 1999 and i returned 2005 after high school. Is time to go and enjoy Ghana with my family.
Get Goya corn flour and mix it with water in a dough, store in an air tight container for about 3days, get cassava from the grocery store and blend. Add to your fermented corn dough and make correct banku. Goya has frozen cassava too
We MISS you too oo. Your shirt is a KILLER. And if you live in Virginia, then it can feel like Gh in a way cos it's a big Gh hub. Houston TX is a big Anago 🇳🇬 hub so it all depends on the state you reside.
I knew i was not the only one..because for me i just cant get over the fact that i can get my koko and bofrot in the morning..im still struggling with that..waakye too..
Most of the time we don't value something in hand until we lose it. These mobile 'menders' are of great value to us all, rich or poor, and they are everywhere so some people look down on them. Is good you missed them over there but here, they come in handy.
Yes, my dear, there are more Ghanaians abroad than there are Nigerians, based on the population distribution. For example, between a 10 member family and 15-members family, if the 10 has about 7 of theirs abroad as against 9 of the later, which of them has more people abroad?
Given the dishes of Ghana that u had missed, on your return visit, you are going to both countries - Nigeria & Ghana? Dont you miss your own Naija food? Has your brief stay in Gh wipe away your taste for your native dishes. I will assume you have aligned so much to things of Gh. ,given the outfit you had on. Nice though. Good luck to whatever you are doing. God bless
I prepare and eat Nigerian dishes (ofcourse there are some I have to go back home to eat) all the time as the ingredients are accessible to me. So, there’s not so much to miss as there’s a part of home with me here. Thank you for the compliment.
Hahahaha if you moved to a Country where the Currency is higher than the country you comes from do not use Calculator else you will not feels comfortable buying goods 😄😄😄
Continue to miss because you didn’t see banku in Nigeria to eat . I can honestly tell you the simple truth. We Nigeria supply you Ghanaians everything that’s the reason why Ghana president cried fowl when Nigeria closed borders. You need viewers are subscriber which Ghanaian can’t give you. May I remind you that Ghana is owing NIGERIA MONEY FOR GAS SUPPLIED TO THEM. God bless Nigeria and Africa ❤
It was Ghanaians who made Nigerian movies popular in USA almost NYC, Connecticut, new jersey area .
