- LIFE BEFORE QUARANTINE: my 5am school morning routine.
Never thought I’d say this.. But honestly missing school right now. I filmed this video around late February before the whole pandemic. I wanted to see what it would be like to wake up at 5am every day so I could get in 2 extra hours of studying every morning (for a week).
Now looking back, I’m so glad I did this mainly because I had 10 extra hours a week to spend time and make memories with my friends. All those little moments made all the studying worth it. It’s especially hard now with online school, not having friends around but once this is all over it will be even more special to spend time with the ones close to us.

MaskitMati Sameee, I was in year 12 last year and unit 1 and 2 psych was definitely easier than 3 and 4 but Quizlet saved me because I’m not maths/science orientated either, and I recommend doing as many practice questions as you can, its so helpful when it comes to doing sacs, what would work best for me was to for any questions I got wrong on the practice and real sac, I would put the question and answer word for word on flash cards and by the time I had to sit an exam I would finish with like half an hour to spare

yeah that was a huge thing for me!! quarantine made me realise how important it was for me to constantly be surrounded by people
Your routine is similar to the one I had back in highschool . But for me I woke up at 4am and studied til 6am then prepared for school. It was challenging but it was worth it.
But I also had off days so it was a balanced routine 😊

hey! welcome, tysm x I was actually born in Israel so I knew the language before doing the subject so my main source of learning was just speaking it at home with my family and doing practice exams throughout the year. I don’t have any websites in mind specifically but something I really recommend doing is watching Israeli TV shows and movies! (with subtitles if you need) this really helps with understanding the language in a real world context xx good luck! 💖

Rosey Lily aww yeah it’s unfortunate how everything else social has been taken away. but at least we have the internet! (also what are the differences between home schooling and the online schooling that many students have to do now?) x
@@maskitmati well the main difference is that online school is a school based on the internet . So like online schoolers still have a teacher and a school . The teacher either teaches them virtually or sends them schoolwork, video links and their due dates . I homeschool . So homeschool is basically your home being your school. Do either your parents teach you ( usually younger kids ) or you do your own thing based on your syllabus . There is no set curriculum , schoolwork or due date unless you decide upon yourself to do so . Hope you kinda understand the difference . I actually should film something about this because I've been getting alot of questions about homeschooling lately x

also: why is your school open that early? we can't enter the school building before 8.00 am and the teachers always forget to let us in so the whole school is late for class and its freeeeezing in the winter lol

In Britain we choose any 3-4 subjects at year 12 to study.
Is it the same in Australia? Do you choose any 3 subjects? Or does everyone have to do English, Maths and Science?
we choose 5-6 subjects to do overall :) i did 2 last year and doing the rest of them this year. we don’t have to choose maths or science but english is mandatory!
