I love how people just walk into the intersection without even looking both ways, or so it appears, they just trust that drivers are paying attention and will actually stop. Where I live, stop signs and traffic lights are treated as suggestions and looking at the road is something you do when you are bored and have nothing else to do.
All Japanese neighborhood streets look the same to me. Tightly packed, few trees, concrete and no grass. Poor abandoned cats, same cars and people, same clothes.
